Scrim'd against a team talking mad shit, insulting us, calling us kids and noobs
this just in folks diana isn't a support
Calling BS like they were trolling or going easy on us, we might play again, will report on whether we get fucked or not.
Guess they didn't learn their lesson with Viktor.
If you read the item, it says 1,000 gold. Can you buy this item at the start of the game with your 475 gold? It's an optional item.
I love Diana's Crescent Strike animation, it's so beautiful, especially with that skin.
If you read the item, it says 1,000 gold. Can you buy this item at the start of the game with your 475 gold? It's an optional item.
...Don't all of Viktor's passive items cost 1k gold?
...Don't all of Viktor's passive items cost 1k gold?
His upgrades cost 1k.
Yeah. The necklace, if this champion actually exists/is in the making, will probably be an upgrade to some base item. Edit: Actually, if it is an upgrade, I would be okay with it being a snowbally item. Maybe a different upgrade option is like, Bonetooth Talisman with a large amount of MR/something else?
this was a nice game
So I kept playing Diana all day and I won 7/8 games in a row and 1 ranked. Maybe my new main?
Calling BS like they were trolling or going easy on us, we might play again, will report on whether we get fucked or not.
Played with a diana that went ad Boy did that rape shit.
2nd game, they stood no damn chance, again they say they weren't even trying. Going to want to rematch again, even though the deal was best 2 outta 3
that feel when you finish a game and there was 00:05 time left on the clock for first win of the day
http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=358872 Article about Azubu Blaze's meta-changing tournament. What do you think guys? Do you think this signals meta changes across every elo?
AND IT WAS A LONG ASS GAME THAT SHOULD TOTALLY HAVE DESERVED IT [editline]8th August 2012[/editline] auto-merge whyy [editline]8th August 2012[/editline]
http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=358872 Article about Azubu Blaze's meta-changing tournament. The 'meta' is the placement system of bruiser top, jungler, AP mid, support and AD carry bot. They didn't touch that at all. Now to read it!

Holy shit, Diana is OP. The damage of any AP mage, the tankiness of Garen, ridiculously low cooldowns on her Q-E and almost no mana issues
Isn't meta also the general playstyle and strategies used by players? Whatever, I know what you mean at least, this is just semantics. I'm going to dissect this article 'cause it's really interesting. They've made a lot of observations I also made during the game and it's creepy.
1. Early game aggression to secure a team lead [...]TSM wanted to lane to farm their power. Azubu just didn't want a laning phase at all.
Whether it's a tried method of strategy or just a viewpoint (I lean towards the latter), this is true. Azubu didn't care for a laning phase and their immediate goal was, well, goals themselves. They moved to push and secure objectives as early as possible. Turrets give global gold, grabbing one within the 10 minute mark or less gives your team a 1,000 gold kickstart or advantage across the board compared to your counterparts, but beyond that, it also guts their safety. When you take away a turret, you also remove a zone of vision that they had over that area that now has to be warded. Tie this in with the fact that . . .
[...]ward coverage is prevalent enough to prevent ganks. If they clear a ward, fall back and just reward again in a moment. Azubu's answer to this? Just get Oracles faster.
TSM was flying blind most of the time. With outer turrets gone, they had to place wards in more locations to ensure absolute safety while trying to farm or push for objectives. Taking just the bottom turret on the purple team forces them to now ward their tribrush, the blue golem brush, the enemy tribrush, and the far brush near mid-lane, along with dragon itself. Before just two wards would be completely sufficient for this, but now you are not only trying to maintain awareness of an objective, but of incoming ganks. What used to be 150 gold every 3 minutes is now 375. Now realize also that two turrets = an Oracles worth of gold for all members of a team, and you can see where things get very difficult to counter.
It is perhaps telling that Reapered (Azubu's top lane player) often bought Philosopher's Stone on Irelia and sometimes even a Heart of Gold, even in a 1v2 lane when he was losing.
This is something we will see a lot more of until Riot either nerfs GP5's again, I guarantee it. Dyrus as Vladimir stacked two Doran Shields and lost his turret in both lanes he held (Top and bottom), and walked away out of 'laning phase' with less than 50 farm at the 12 minute mark. He never picked up a Gold per 5 item the entire game. Reapered on Irelia, sitting in the same lanes and losing the turrets four or five minutes afterwards, had, as mentioned, two of them, but only 30 farm. I'll let you guys guess which of these two got to be stronger at the 30 minute mark. Repeared turned his Philo Stone's free income into a Trinity Force with time, plus a Randuin's Omen off of the Heart of Gold. Dyrus was finishing up his Rabadon's and first damage item. In either case, the biggest thing to take away from this is that an early Oracle's Elixer was pretty much the game winner in all of these new strategies/metas. Having a mobile pink ward that never disappears until the user dies (A tanky user no less) is incredibly powerful, perhaps even overpowered. I'm hearing rumours that Riot is thinking of nerfing Oracle's Elixer somehow, especially since the stealth rework for Twitch and Evelyn (The two people this item was made to countered) has been released and makes it a lot less needed. Against wards, however, Oracle's is king.

Rumours and whatnot. E: Top lane is just two Battlecast Cho's spamming laugh and joke between themselves. No harassing or fighting, just farming and having a good time. This game makes me smile sometimes.
I love moments like that [editline]8th August 2012[/editline] Support Galio is much more bearable than Taric.
This was a fun game. Also, seriously, the Yellow Augment with a Rylai was really, really strong. I was all over the place with my build though and it was shit since this is the first time I ever played Viktor.

They're having the guy who worked on Xin Zhao look into Viktor's Passive and his Upgrades (ETA a long long time from now). I tend to get his W Augmented for the extra cast range.
Heh I prefer the red upgrade. Anyway... the joys of blind pick. Pick Kat because we needed a mid, go up against Kassadin. FUCK. Their jungler babysits mid, I have awful earlygame. Kassadin is the only person on their team who can break my ult. FUCK YES. I clean up mid-lategame and wreck teamfights.

Do you think this signals meta changes across every elo?
not close to what i would consider to be a "meta-change" 1. time based movement and synergy should exist already, time based movement basically equates to organized teamplay, which should happen anyways at pro level 2. early game aggression is nothing new, it's just a playstyle. and they are farming just as much 3. the aura items have been built forever, still nothing new. 4. no lane changes really this article is trying so hard to overanalyze shit and at lower elos and normal games people are still going to go full-retard, so that is all that matters
[thumb]http://imgkk.com/i/oohz.jpg[/thumb] carrying scrubs again Xin Zhao real good or I stomped noobs. Either way I think I might add Xin Zhao to the list of top lane champions I play.
the only difference is more focus on aura items, which quite a few people have done anyway.
and aegis was always op cost efficient even without the aura affecting more than you
