I also liked how difficult she was to do well with, but again, that's a really glaring fault. Playing a champion shouldn't be a constant uphill battle. It gives her some flare and uniqueness but it's still a bad champion in the end. I've always admitted this to myself when it came to Katarina. She was the first champion I ever saved for.

The potential mechanics even work the same - auto-attacks consume it and abilities consume it, too.

You defend them no matter what I've never seen you disagree with them ever. But Kat's Q is akali's Q to a T at this point. Panth and TF's ult are different except for the teleport. Kat and Akali are the same Q.

i didn't know akali's q bounced from target to target and only akali's melee attack and e consume the mark on her mark of the assassin and besides that, it's one ability that is similar to akali. What about the rest?

Nobody's going to compare the remade Katarina as just being a new Akali, the only semblance is in the one ability. Katarina is still Katarina. Standard build will just be Infinity Edge, Phantom Dancer, Last Whisper. AKA standard carry stuff. If you're getting harassed and losing trades a lot in lane, you can get away with going Wriggle's Lantern into Phantom Dancer, then follow up with Infinity Edge.

I like enemy Garens that rush Sunfire cape. It's annoying, but not deadly.
