When you buy it it's about the same as a Pickaxe (1k for 30+ AD, Pickaxe is 975 for 25 AD) At level 18 it gives 56 AD for 1k gold, and 2 stacks basically removes the need for T2 boots until mid-late game

Even if you wouldn't get 2 AD per level, it would still be pretty good. Or if you would lose half of the stacks you have, it would still be pretty good Or if they'd remove MS bonus, it would still be pretty good. Bullshit item, I agree

Alternatively they can nerf the AD per level to 1 so it isn't item of the year all years without stacks [editline]11th August 2012[/editline] I want to try hitting 18 stacks on it 360 (+6.4 total AD) damage nukes with 150% AS buff all day every day

what are some supports that can poke really good? ive been playing taric but it bothers me that i cant really poke the enemy ad carry unless i blow my stun or something

I think Janna's whirlwind is good.

Malzahar is a solid pick, has clear weaknesses but still strong

Malz is single target sustained damage, ult means kill everytime but just one.

Malz's ult is insanely satisfying when you get it right.

especially when the whole enemy team is in your purple pool of shit.
