When the enemy team bot lane completely crushes yours because they go support/carry and your guys wanna try something dumb like Veigar Udyr or something and then the enemy team is like "no your bot didn't suck they were good stop blaming the loss on them you can't blame them for losing to pros like us :3" ugh

It really angers me that they are nerfing her for those reasons. You won't be the only one writing a nasty letter.

The problem with supports is that they're by nature supposed to have 0 CS and all magic damage scales, so they can't go the DotA route and effectively make them nukers with some CC (a la Lion or Lich) because the AP shit would have to scale and they'd either be useless and do no damage because 0 CS or snowball out of control and become burst wombo-combo heroes. So LoL supports are left with only heals and some minor CC and Morello wants to stop healing in lane. Basically AP ratios screw over supports.

Basically AP ratios screw over supports.[/QUOTE] And basically, in this game, AP ratios are negated by MR, so caster damage is fairly stable throughout the whole game in most cases, and since mostly all roles except support will have money to afford good MR, the scaling damage just spells shit for supports, since the damage would be really ridiculous if MR didn't exist.

If you bothered to read the post, Morello said that the reason why Soraka is uninteresting to play against is because it promotes a passive lane where it's not worth harassing or poking.
