Especially top lane.[/QUOTE] His solo-top is probably the hardest to play him as, and I've never actually done it well, but since in top lane his primary harassment would be his Q, I would build an Athene's Unholy Grail for its tankiness and AP and CDR and mana regen, a wriggles because armor, lifesteal and a free ward, a frozen heart, something with health, and then situational stuff like wit's end or abyssal. The idea is to be tanky and just win trades with your Q - but with jungling I like AD and on-hit because flash ulti makes for some serious ganking.

Yeah, I always teeter between building AP for his Q (AP WW devastating) and building tanky as a top lane should half the time. Athene's would be excellent, I'm stupefied I hadn't thought of it.

His Q burns through mana like nobody's business

Oh yeah, it's either max Q and with trades or go tanky/AD and hope maxing your Hunter's Call pays off when you're duking it out 1v1.

Honestly, Jayce is marketed as someone who has to combine his stances but in reality you'll largely be using one of the two. His hammer form is useless in my opinion besides the knockback. His cannon form, though? Brilliant. Thats the thing, see. He feels like he only has 3 skills. Most of the time you will be auto-attacking with his brilliant W Cannon with the occasional Q Cannon. Jayce's character though is rather fitting, and he looks amazing. I just don't think that this is a good champion for the 100th one, even if riot said they weren't gonna do anything special - I don't think they meant that so literally that they'd make the 100th one of the poorest champs they've released recently.

Or getting ganked. If you don't play your cards right you can get zoned as solotop Warwick real fucking easy, and then it's game over for you.

I use both hammer stance and cannon stance frequently. Switching between the two gives those sweet buffs and when you first enter with cannon stance, they try to run? no problem switch to HS and q their asses and your back in the mix. w restoring mana and the knockback has saved me numerous times. And I mostly play CS.

I'm excited for the new Poison Ivy champion, it'll probably be some generic poison champion but it'll still look really cool!
