He's countered alot just by being the the game, people will buy Banshees and shit tonnes of MR if they keep getting killed by you. I normally end up just stacking ridiculous amounts of AP and diving into team fights, not caring if I die or not. That being said Malz is also cool, nice dot, good silence, but you leave yourself very open to being insta gibbed if you jump in to use your ulti. The one benefit of Karthus is his zombie mode which means you can't be interrupted, so ultimately i'd say for me Karthus is miles more fun and better to play at mid.

Acceleration Gate into Shock Blast feels like it hits a little too hard early game, but other than that I've no issues with Jayce. Seems really cool.

Idiot leblanc on our team started trolling and sat on the summoner platform for half the game, said she was the best since she never died. GP was disconnecting and unofficially surrendered by sitting on the platform too stay classy LoL community.

i don't think lifesteal is really necessary on jayce, since you're mostly using abilities with very few autoattacks in between and other than W, it doesn't pay off really. and if you build it into a wriggle's, you're massively gimping your damage, and the same with bloodthirster really imo, rushing a black cleaver or IE then going tank/tanky dps items with cdr with a doran's blade or two for lane dominance is great since his hp/level is so damn high, and they both synergize with W amazingly, while BT/wriggle's gives you some more hp back, but your hp pool is so high it doesn't make a difference since W is one of the few times you autoattack

What do you sustain him with then?[/QUOTE] never found much need for it really, people too obsessed with sustain these days, since it's only needed really in lanes where you do nothing but harass and poke 24/7 or rely almost completely on autoattacks to deal damage two doran's blades and 3% lifesteal mastery is 9% even if you decide to play him that way but i play him like xin zhao engaging enemy top laner like 24/7 if i know i can do it (usually can since 6 abilities) [editline]8th July 2012[/editline] and lifesteal doesn't help you much in 1v1 engagements with jayce, since you just spam abilities and they die and you go home happy also lol jayce's passive goes through jarvan ult
