It adds minuscule damage and just raises the cooldown which is a bad thing. Try R -> W -> E -> Q for a skill order. Also, lifesteal and AD are great. Usually a few Doran's, Frozen Mallet, Bloodthirster and Guardian Angel can carry a game single-handedly.
