I'm surprised to see that Jayce isn't as good as people expected him to be. He's still very viable and good, but he definitely can't carry and take on full teams. His strength is in his combos, which for the most part involve focusing down a single person.
I bet 10 bucks he's gonna get nerfed next patch

In order for Jayce to carry it mostly involves positioning. He has to take out one person at a time and watch his positioning, otherwise he's just gonna get melted.

They've gotten better about not responding immediately to such things. If that were the case, Darius would've been babby mode one day after release.

In order to get full effect out of all of his skills, he has to get up close to them in melee form. But unlike Garen or Darius, he's not even slightly tanky. He has melee skills that allow him to use his position to his advantage.
He's a lot different from "any carry" I figured. Since he's not a carry that can just sit back and watch the fireworks (like Graves or Kog) He has to take risks and get up close just as much.
