I love Bruma, mostly because I'm a sucker for mountain views.
Wow, they're pretty small....
Cheydinhal is underrated. It's so beautiful, but I always forget about it.
But... I suppose my favorite city would be Anvil. I love the beach and living by the coast would just be a personal paradise.
I like jumping around Bravil.
Imperial city..slums...Well ever since i downloaded that mod where a certain zombie tracks you down to kill you i feel much safer being surrounded by guards..Did i mention once the zombie dies it respawns again in one hour :byodood:
Bruma is cozy.

Good thing i saved it from the Giant mega drill on the main quest.
I honestly never experienced the city life in this game. I just wandered in, slaughtered everyone, and left.

I never fully understood where the fun was when you killed everything in sight in Oblivion. If I wanted to do that, I would play GTA, at least there they don't run out of people.

Cheydinhal is the best city

Sometimes it's fun to save your game then see how much you can get away with.
I used a zero-encumberance cheat once and stole absolutely evrything from Castle Bruma.
This is making me reinstall the game.
Also for you long-time Oblivion players - is this page outdated?

If so, what are some good mods?

INCREDIBLY outdated. I used that in 07 and it hasn't changed much :v:
As for mods, fuck, most of the mods on that page are still gold. Go for it, pal.
uurrgg I just can't vote.
I loved like 3 of the cities too much.

Cheydinhal for being my first city and having some of the best things hidden.
Leyawiin for the Architecture and because I know it the best
Chorrol felt the safest and most like home.
Bruma because I was there too long.
Leyawin, I like the architecture.
Yeah I do too. Its like all the buildings are made of dog treats! :downs:

"Hey where's our stuff? Ah well let's just live life how we always do."
Honestly that's how they act, i stole a lot of weapons from stores to get my fence money up and the owners act like nothing ever happened.

The same thing happens in fallout 3, and when you're wearing the invisibility suit shit you really wonder what they're thinking. :v:
"Oh hey our stuff is randomly floating away."
...
"That's normal"
...
"Yup."
...
"Yuuup."
Playing through Oblivion again, and I only just realized how unstoppable and untouchable you can become if you're a mage.
Custom spell:
Fire/shock/frost damage
Invisibility
Just spam something like that and enemies will never touch you.
Anvil is where I'd live when I'd be a single bachelor enjoying life.
Chorrol is where I'd move to after I got married and was forced to settle down because "there's too many strangers in Anvil, some Argonian merchant could sail in and steal our kids, Chorrol's fighter's guild would keep us safe, there's no vampires, the kid's would love the tree, there's a monastary nearby so we can attend church" blah blah blah the list goes on. Not to mention some stupid conspiracy theory my wife would have about the Count of Anvil being a crook or some bull shit, the guys dead so whatever.

it's funny because it's true and i do know people who act like that in real life, seriously THICK people.
Cheydinhal was definitely my favorite. Man, I loved that motherfucking house. Always the first city I buy a house in.
