I dont see what everyones complaining about.
Im loving this.

The main mode is Power Mode. Armor Mode+Cloak drains power over time. Nano vision isn't exactly useless, I use it all the time and it helps.
For me it only highlights team mates. Whenever I see an enemy they aren't lit up.
Cry Engine 2 to Cry Engine 3 is a hurdle, as well as many Graphic tweaks, enchancements and improvements, especially some of the particle effects. I just hope Crytek adds some Optimization.
I remember Crytek saying that Crysis 2 would run better then Crysis 1. or maybe they said the engine would run better.
Damnit. :(
The controls :(
Why the hell do I shoot 1/2 a clip of an LMG into someone, not damage them, and then they kill me in 2 shots?
Do you know how fucking annoying that is? It doesn't happen every once in a while, it happens every time.
Who are the two opposing teams?

C.E.L.L
Marines
I've only been able to play one match so far, it keeps locking up my xbox every time it loads up the map.
Yes and no, you can disable realtime rendering in Crysis to an extent but you lose a lot of the really cool flashy features and get half baked stuff.
Isn't not rendering in realtime offline rendering, like what was done for the mass physics videos?
I really didn't like it, controls felt so sluggish it was unbelievable
Crash every time I try to play a match.
gg crytek
I was really disappointed by this.
It's on the marketplace now, and so is Bullet Storm. Both great demos
How's the weapon customization? Is it real time like in the first game? Does it have any limitations?

You do it pre-game on multiplayer.
Because we got the first MP demo exclusively and the entire first game exclusively. Plus we have mod tools and all the cool shit the Xbox players will never get to see, also Dx10, 10.1, and 11 support.
Seems only fair Xbox gets something. (Yes I know Xbox has Dev tools but for levels not mods)
9, 10.1 and 11, native DX10 is shit and they're not using it.

I'm fucking pissed off. My router, EVEN_WHEN_THERE_ARE_NO_FUCKING_DEVICES_CONNECTED turns off the internet when I plug my xbox in and try to connect to live.
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUU.
what the fUCk my xbox freezes every time i join a server
i was able to play a few rounds earlier but now it will never actually get ingame
I just played the demo there and damn son its awesome. Streamlining all the nanosuit features so you can get around quicker feels great. Enjoyed it much more than Bulletstorm.
OH NO IT FROZE EEEEEEEEE
Crytek is in Germany and they kinda cut back on ragdolls.
They changed it from Crysis, not everything is realtime now and you have to enable realtime rendering through options and/or through console.
Cryengine 3 doesn't do things pre-computed, EVERYTHING is real-time, no exceptions. They've overhauled EVERYTHING to make it possible, but trust me the only thing you can change is the quality of things, not whether it's real-time or not.
Ah, killstreaks are obtained through picking up Enemy dog tags. I like that, it promotes getting up close rather than hiding in stealth mode with snip;er rifles.
Great, both Crysis 2 and Bulletstorm crash when trying to start a match. :waycool:
I had fun playing it.
I grew up on console shooters so the controls aren't bad at all for me. I was sliding around killing people the very first match I participated in. The only thing I really dislike is how you have to select your grenade and then throw it, I would have much more preferred the Halo/CoD one-button throws.
Wow, I thought people were exaggerating when they compared this to Call of Duty. But come on, seriously?
I can't wait for this on PC, but i sure as shit will play it on XBL! :fappery:

BOOM! while my health flashes red. I giggled like a little girl, a rare but joyous occasion when gaming!

Thanks OP, Downloading now.

I don't think this is a fairness issue, this is Crytek giving in to the mainstream market that is dominated by consoles. They know they're gonna sell less if the game stays PC exclusive, so now they want to get the xbox players on a hook to sell some copies.
Fuckin' sucks. I see that they need money but it's not like they're gonna go bankrupt if they keep Crysis exclusive to the PC.
I've tried to play 5 matches, locked up while loading all but one. Once you get in its pretty good though.
So are there unlockables in the Demo?
how's the framerate on the xbox
