Fucking hell Every server has a ping limit on it that's set to 150 so I can't join anything without having the game crash due to the ping kick bug. People are such fucking assholes to those who don't live in their fancy Americans states that it disgusts me.
This explains why I get ping kicked when I play on Crysis Wars servers in the EU and Australia.

Although I haven't had any problems with being kicked, even though my horrible ping must annoy the fuck out of everyone :v: A proper question: How do I use my spare tonage? I know you can use it for ammo but how does it all work?

Also, better pause crysis and warhead and go straight to wars if you want to play this.
k i'll go download wars. i'm using Optus, who's the best for me inside NSW? wait what Approximate speed of your Internet connection 'DSL > 256kb' uh no no no that's wrong nope
So it's true to the original BattleTech universe. [sp]CLANS FOR LYFE[/sp]
But the longinus looks so much cooler than the elemental :saddowns:
I SET IT TO 10MBS AND IT'S GOING AT A BLAZING 150KB/S wait what crysis wars is done [editline]30th December 2010[/editline] oh steam, you so fahnee yea so now im downloading at 1mb/s which is more like it. [editline]30th December 2010[/editline] so i've played MWLL before, but it was extremely laggy, has that gone and pissed off?
Kinda, doesn't seem to laggy so far. [editline]30th December 2010[/editline]
We should get an Aussie server going. The tonnage is currently used to determine armor, heatsinks, weaponry and space for ammo in the varients. In the future, when mechlab is implemented there you'll be able to add/modify weapons according to tonnage rules and slot rules (i.e. no assault class weapons in a small weapon slot, and you can't go over your weight limit for the mech).

And when I add it does it just add to my pool or do i have to reload it?
It'll say "tons free" at the top. If you have more than 0, you can add extra tons of ammo (i.e. tons free 2 means you can add two tons of ammo, or two "clips" worth). You get ammo in the same menu that you buy a mech from, except under the ammo tab. Just click the ammo you want and it'll add it to your "ammo list". Your weapon will automatically load that ton of ammo once you run out of the ammo that comes with the weapon by default.
So it's true to the original BattleTech universe. [sp]CLANS FOR LYFE[/sp]
They're actually a lot weaker than their CBT counterparts. In the tabletop wargame their lasers have like twice the range of a I.S. ER laser; the Clan ER Large Laser can outrange a Light Gauss rifle.
Is this mecha über alles or do tanks and infantry share as much importance as the robots? [editline]29th December 2010[/editline] Back when I played MW4, I felt like some kind of genocide machine when faced against anything lesser than another mech. Even destroyers could be sunk by ramming.

[editline]29th December 2010[/editline] Back when I played MW4, I felt like some kind of genocide machine when faced against anything lesser than another mech. Even destroyers could be sunk by ramming.
Very much the latter. Battle armor with the Micro Heavy Laser and plenty of C8 charges are flying death when they are skilled. Sure they die in one hit to many weapons, but they are very small and fast which allows them to continually dodge between a big firefight and avoid getting hit+seen. A single battle armor can take down an assault mech if enough time permits and the assault is having a hard time getting a lock. If the mech has an all-missile loadout, then BA will eat you alive. Tanks are generally very well armored compaired to similarly priced mech counterparts. The demolisher only has 2 assault weapons, but has some of the toughest armor and can take a while to kill. You can also field tanks quicker than most mechs. Plus, having 360 degree roation, a smaller profile, and treads has it's perks.
IS there a joystick and force feedback support? I can't recall.
yeah, joystick support [editline]30th December 2010[/editline] anyone else just get a 74.34mb update? 0.4.1
Hey guys, I installed Crysis, patched it up, then installed this. Everything seems to work fine but the server browser. I only get 4 or 5 severs hosting the mod, and all of them have N/A for pings. Halp?
uh okay whenever i click 'internet game' or whatever it is, it doesnt do anything, and when i try to start a lan game it just goes back to the server browser
You have to start Wars first and click internet game, so you put in your cd-key and gamespy account. Then it will work in MWLL
okay i went to wars and then i clicky on da server and then i get some shit about my cd key being invalid. i fucking bought the game off steam today
I think steam messed up because i read that the keys for the steam version are broken/false. Including mine :frown:
how do you fuck up THAT bad :sigh: i've read that you can go nag EA support for a new CD key, ima go do that. [editline]30th December 2010[/editline] australia support only work from 8am-6pm.. it's 9pm.. ffffff
Damnit, no kind of practice/offline mode to practice a bit before jumping onto a server. Oh well, can't go that bad, can it?
In regular Crysis multiplayer, is anyone elses server list filled with cracked/No-CD Key servers? Also every MWLL server is the last version.
In regular Crysis multiplayer, is anyone elses server list filled with cracked/No-CD Key servers? Also every MWLL server is the last version.
Yeah mine is filled with cracked servers too. It is the only way i can play on my steam version at the moment.
Apparently Valve/EA have been giving out inactivated keys so we can't really do much aside from wait. Luckily I managed to find my Wars CD and key so I'm installing that now and giving it a go.
update 0.4.2? what's this Balance - increased RAC5/RAC2 price Bug Fixes - fixed: crash due to overheat damage - fixed: crash on connect - fixed: joystick handler looking for the joystick.cfg in the wrong place when using Wars - fixed: buy menu icon for thor not displaying correctly that'd be helpful if i could actually play.. :sigh:
I love this mod. Not a fan of the series, but I really liked the mod when I stumbled across it a while back. Also, the Long Tom is the best vehicle out there.

I still can't play. Ports forwarded for Crysis and Gamespy, and the only 4.2 server on Crysis has a N/A ping.
