Oh, and if you don't want to get that, just use everything in your power, such as complexion, tone, shape, randomize, EVERYTHING.
I just hit random until I get something halfway decent, then make it thinner by like 50% and it actually looks like a non-obese, fully sane person

Does anyone know of a mod that gets rid of the first person fire effects when in first person in oblivion?
'Cause some dremora had some fire sword that did fire damage over time and there was so much fire I couldn't see.

Midas Magic Mod is one of the best mods for the game hands down, completely reworks the magic system and makes them look better.

1) it doesn't affect the magic system at all, it's got an entirely seperate system for itself
2) it doesn't affect the vanilla graphics at all

Yeah I got them mixed up, they're both great mods though.
Can I not use FCOM if I don't have Shivering Isles?
Step 8 says to install the SI version, but not what to do if I don't have it (it doesn't say whether it's required or not)
You don't need it. One of the installers just asks whether or not you have it. You can say no.
I installed the base game, Shivering Isles, Knights of the Nine, and then installed Better Cities; however, Better Cities won't load, as in the cities appear regular.
Any help?
I enabled:
Better Cities - Full City Defenses.esp
Better Cities.esp
Better Cities Full.esp
Better Cities Resources.esm
And I have the Bravil Barrowfields compatibility patch installed for when I actually do install Unique Landscapes.
Plus:
Better Cities - Bravil Docks.bsa
Better Cities - Complement.bsa
Better Cities - Meshes.bsa
Better Cities - Shipyard.bsa
Better Cities - Sounds EV.bsa
Better Cities - Textures.bsa
Better Cities - Textures EV.bsa

It's really fun, took me about 3-4 hours. Reasonably linear but great rewarding content. I'd say get it

You can't wear the armor if you're infamy is 1 or over.

If you get the stuff and like it, don't do the mod Tears of The Fiend if you like taking the easy route.

I remember Tears of the Fiend. That along with Ruined-Tail and Malevolent are some of the best quest mods available, everyone should check them out!
