just using a cure disease potion or visiting a shrine will before three days are up will cure it, i think
use a resist disease spell or enchantment to avoid catching it
It annoys me how in this game, you will always end up using the same armour no matter what character. When you get to level whatever that you need for glass/daedric armour, I find myself always using that, because it gives the best defense. I'd like to look cool, but looking cool has a tendency to get me killed. It just feels like the "lower quality" armour/weapons are a bit shit when you get to later levels.
Thats why you get new armor from mods.

i upgraded my leather armor pieces with 25% shield so it's even better than daedric armor
I enchanted my armor with absorb magika so I whenever I encounter mages, they restore my magika.

Just get a shield spell or enchant some armor with shield enchantments, max armor you can get is 85 and a single shield spell can give you that, higher armor skills also help.

Yeah but then I always find myself using that armour set, because it's way overpowered, or I don't like it, because the cuirass, greaves, gloves + boots are all one item so only 1 enchant :(

I never wear armour because it is the best and such. I always go for what looks the best.

Bookmarked for whenever I install oblivion again since it is bound to happen.
I just nuked my Oblivion install and reinstalled, time to pick the mods more selectively this time. Something I had installed was making my framerate chug like a Nord in a room full of ale.

My xivalai is just wandering around the wilderness, looking for a worthy opponent. And, on accident, found the kvatch oblivion gate and is slaughtering everything inside. A lot of fun in my opinion, if you don't mind taking your time walking to places.

I have Unnecessary Violence, MMM, and several other mods.
UV makes combat so worthwhile, as well as Deadly Reflex.
I stumbled into a barbarian horde, one with a warhammer swings at me, the whole game goes into slow motion. I can hear my heartbeat, and I duck right before he hits me, then stab him in the gut and kill him.

Oh, and it just doesn't really appeal to me that much, I'm not sure why.
In fact, the only things I don't use many attacks or moves from UV except for the special executor (While blocking you [b]kick[/b] and have a chance to make them fly back, and the Shield bash which disorients you enemy)
I also like how enemies can trip if you push them back or disorient them.
The slow motion is a good feature too, but I am not sure if that is Deadly Reflex or not.

Slow motion happens rarely, and UV also allows decapitations.
It is based on how heavy your weapons are, where you hit, and your skill.
