Tried doing FCOM and it completely destroyed my Oblivion :/
I think I'll just stick to OOO and DR for now on, with whatever little stuff I find.
Could someone point me towards a tutorial on using DR? I tried looking at the readme, but none of the attacks they describe work except for the sneak attacks. I'll stagger someone, then shield bash them, and nothing will happen at all. Am I misunderstanding this?
Ugh, I hate UV. I installed it, played with it for five minutes and then I was forced to reinstall Oblivion because it had completely screwed up my game. Buggy piece of rubbish, I'll stick with DR thanks.
However installing it fixed some stuff with my DR, namely the fact that I didn't get the stab animation and hardly ever got spell crits. After installing UV and Supreme Magicka (and then disabling UV) suddenly everything worked again.
Mods are weird.
Damned Deadly reflexes... Whenever I want to start the game with it, Oblivion just flashes a black screen and closes. I have obse v0017b, Deadly reflexes is last in the mod manager, the game is patched to the correct version, and STILL it doesn't work on a CLEAN install. Any ideas?

Did you check to make sure Oblivion worked at all before you installed DR?

I hope that was sarcasm. Of course I did. Everything works like a charm, until I enable Deadly Reflexes from the Mod Manager.
Are there any mods out there that enhance the acrobatics skill? Namely, ones that enable you to vault over fences, duck and roll after falls, that sort of thing.
ITS RAINING DOGS :frog:

Have you tried using BOSS to rearrange your load order?
Can you name any other mods you have for us?

Yes, I tried BOSS, alas nothing. Other mods - The unofficial patch, All the DLCs + KotN and SI, the keychain mod... And that's it. It works fine without DR, but when I start it - fail.

Unless you didn't install the hotfix (which I'm not sure would actually help, as I don't know what it fixes) I think the only thing you can do is try posting for assistance in the main Deadly Reflex thread.

HorseMaster.esp is required
Not sure what it's called, but it's the one with horse combat.

I don't know, but I've been wanting basically the same thing. The whole movement system in this game is lacking; it basically feels like I'm controlling a camera on rails :\

It's on. With or without it, the same fail. I guess my game is just screwed...
aw shit guys.. i just bought oblivion for my crappy dell 3100 through steam
this should get some lols
I got deadly reflex working. Taking peoples heads is fun.
Also, I chopped someone in half from the waist with a warhammer. Didn't know it would do that.
Oh man that zombie mod is cool. catch is though if I there are more then 4 zombies my FPS drops to like 5ish.
I need a new CPU.
That reminds me, horde took over the world, me and around 60 survivors are holding in Battlehorn keep, I am currently packing up and heading to Helms Deep.
The zombie mod was good until it started spawning invincible zombies (like, they didn't even react to being hit). Plus having your character get infected is no fun, since there's pretty much no cure.

How many zombies do you think there are?
I set the horde maximum to 1,500 zombies, and I set the setting to Patient Zero (1 infected person, spreads the disease)
I think there are at least 1,000 because I have crowded roads active. Only place that hasn't fallen yet is Cheydinnhall which is conveniently close to Helms Deep.
If all goes well, I can teleport to Cheydinnhall, and move up there. Hopefully we won't get ambushed by Warg riders on the way. (LoTR reference)
I can also get some food along the way, I can pack it on my War Mammoth. I could also buy horses for my people.
This mod sounds interesting...

And where did you get the war mammoth? Elswyre?

Set your settings to make the zombies hitpoints to 60 if you want a challenge.
Just use the 28 days later spell and use the custom settings to set absolutely everything you want. There are no limits to what you can customize.

No, just a mod that adds a Wolly Mammoth with armor + axes on it's tusks.

Its a few pages back.
Oh, and Helms Deep is from a mod too, it adds Helms Deep and The Shire, but the Shire isn't really a fortress.
Much Appreciated. Will it work with a game in progress?

Link to said mammoth mod and helms deep mod?
Update:
Got all my people to Helms Deep safe and sound. I made it to Cheydinnhall but it was already under siege, I barricaded all the gates, killed all the zombies inside, and got all the survivors (7 civilians, 2 fighters guild, 1 mage, 4 town guard, 2 palace servants and the Count) to Helms Deep.
I am thinking the force that sieged Cheydinnhall was just a migration from the horde, and based on some recon I did earlier I suspect the undead hive city is Bruma.
If Cheydinnhall was a migration, then the horde must already be at the new maximum (5,000).
I am going to head to Cloud Ruler to search for any Blades that can help me in the inevitable siege of Helms Deep.

Also where is this Fallout 3 zombie mod?
I doubt I could run it though.

Yes, but when you turn it on (I used patient zero so I had plenty of time before the zombies were a problem), start preparing for the coming invasion.
Find the best defensible place, get as many followers as you can to get there.
Stock up on food, weapons, armor, repair hammers and other necessary items for you and your followers/ eventual survivors.
Get as many materials for the cure illness spell (Cures zombification) as you can, and horde it.
If you can, get a mod that lets you farm land, so you can have a lasting supply over the long siege. (I don't think one exists, so hunt/buy as much food as possible)
When the invasion starts, gather as many survivors as possible. They will be your only hope in defending your spot and then retaking the world.
