What? I find these in the middle of every cell I'm in now...
I'm assuming you got the cape and hood from OOO or capes and cloaks. Am I correct? What mod is the gloves from also?
Those are just Blade's gloves, but how do I get rid of those arrows?!
Those are just Blade's gloves, but how do I get rid of those arrows?!
Open the console, click on the arrows, and use the disable command.
Doesn't work.
Maybe its a mod problem. I hate it when I find a cool weapon or armor mod that you have to find in a dungeon. With OOO installed, and other mods, dungeons are practically impossible.
If any of you care to know, I fixed my problem of a crash at the beth splash screen after a re-install. You need to go to my documents\my games\oblivion and delete BlendSettings, RendererInfo and Oblivion.ini, then it should run perfectly (these files are left from a previous install, which I didn't realise, and only deleted program files)
So this thread convinced me to get Oblivion for PC (I had bought it at launch for 360 for some stupid reason). Anyway since it cost 50% less on Direct2Drive I decided to get it from there instead of Steam, but here comes the problem: When I try to download Oblivion it brings me to a page with 2 types of download, a single large one or two smaller ones, and no matter which one I chose a grey window appears, tells me "Download Initiating" and then it changes to "An error occured while trying to download. Please try again later. " (with "occurred" misspelled). Everything else downloads fine, Shivering Islands just starts directly in the Download Manager and so does KotN, but vanilla Oblivion just refuses to download. I opened a support ticket but I haven't got an answer yet (and if it's true that they are on 24/7, then it has been more than 12 hours since I submitted it). Has anyone else got this problem (and maybe solved it)?
I'm downloading Ezio's armour - Altair? Pah. He was no assassin compared to this genuine italian motherfucker. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=28761 Altair's armour: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=19388 (also comes with altair as a race) [editline]09:53AM[/editline]
So this thread convinced me to get Oblivion for PC (I had bought it at launch for 360 for some stupid reason). [editline]11:00AM[/editline] Actually, fuck digital download, I'm off to buy it physically.

You might be able to use one of those NoCD cracks instead of the exe they give you - it says the exe is encrypted from D2D, so using a different exe that doesn't have the encryption might work. Just try that before you waste $20
Repost from page 12: http://thenexusforums.com/index.php?showtopic=164060 A list of armour that's meant to be armour-ified, not sexy.
There are actually armors that do look like they are mean't to be sexy. Although some* do appear they can deflect a hit better than the other "armor". *some as in not all, some still appear to be just sexual appeal. This doesn't apply to men, but you will find a couple of anime armors.

Not to mention I can't find Oblivion in any game store close to me (I had already looked some weeks ago). Now I just need to download the game, which is easier said than done.
I'm installing OOO now. Is there supposed to be a main OOO .esp file? Because the "OOO-FULL" "OOO-LITE" are empty, and Living Economy is also empty. I found my problem, winRAR is cunt.
http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=19246 A gun that's actually somewhat functional? Sweet. [editline]12:03PM[/editline] Need more mods. But, I can deal with the ones I have now. My current character is an imperial that uses magic and stealth. It's annoying.
Still no answer on my support ticket on D2D, so I still haven't got to play anything. I guess I'll update it every day or start sending emails, hopefully I'll have more success. Oh well at least I've had time to download every single mod that I wanted. [editline]05:04PM[/editline] Also is everyone over at TESnexus a horny 13 years old? Mostly I see "omgomg super sxey elf hothtothot" or "nude mod huge boobz!!!!11", not to mention the tentacle rape mod. The problem is that female characters have a shitload of great faces and models, but males don't have many (they have to stick with the vanilla crap mostly). Also after reading the thread I'm definitely going with a zombie invasion. [editline]05:58PM[/editline] Uhh... Yes, that between his legs is a dick.
If I install a mod that adds more spells, and decide I don't want it anymore, can I just delete the .esp and the game will know to remove the now-dud content?
In the event that it doesn't, you can always use Wrye Bash to manually delete the spells from the save.
I'll rename the extension to zip so the game doesn't detect it, but I can put it back in if the game doesn't like it.

Holy shit my download is working now (had to go to the US version of D2D). [editline]06:26PM[/editline]
Weeaboos try to ruin every game that they own. Weeaboos pls go
Talking with Uberman77883 has made me to want to play Oblivion again. Problem is that when I played it on PC with mods, it kept crashing, and I didn't know how to merge mods so I got pretty much annoyed and uninstalled it. I think it has something todo with Wrye Bash, but I don't know how to use it, anyone can give me some tips on merging mods, or how to avoid the crashes? They were after a few minutes of gameplay, was annoying...
I still can't figure out how to fix my arrows bug. They're in the middle of EVERY cell I'm in. This includes guilds, inns, traders, ect. I know it's part of a mod, where arrows get stuck in you and you have to pull them out, but it's one of those mods up in FCOM.
Hey Uberman, didn't you say there was a newspaper you could get that detailed the progress of the zombies? I want to see this horde and what they're doing.
I really didn't like that 28 Days And A Bit zombie mod. The zombies were basically impossible to kill and I ended up having to run away from pretty much everything, meaning I couldn't do quests. PLUS, when I tried to use the 'remove all zombies' option, they refused to disappear :saddowns: Can anyone recommend a mod or two to use with it that might make it a bit more fun?
Weeaboos pls go
Yeah, I don't know which I hate the most, the vanilla shit-faces or the anime-looking (huge eyes and boobs) modifications. Also is there any mod that adds beards? I mean real beards (not equippable ones or Nord-only ones) like this: or this Nearly every RPG has beards, but I have very rarely seen a long one like the above. Would be a lot easier to just make an androgynous pretty-boy with spiky hair (since half of the mods are for that) I guess, but the easy way isn't always the right one.
Shagoreth ( I know I didn't spell his name right ) has a nice beard.

I think there is a beard in the Midas Spells of Aurum mod, Its in the upstairs of his shop in a dresser.
Shagoreth ( I know I didn't spell his name right ) has a nice beard.
Sheogorath. [editline]01:12PM[/editline] He also outlawed beards.
