Turn the difficulty down. Or turn on god mode. OOO is difficult enough for me that I struggle to survive in vilverin.

I wonder if it gets easier as you get higher in level. I think I need to take a break from the MQ so I can just level.

Once you level, you get better items from the enemies you kill. Instead of a Wraith carrying an iron axe at level 1-10, he will carry, say, an ebony axe after 30.
I'm only level four at the moment.

The only reason I can survive in OOO without god mode is the fact that I use custom races with unbalanced stats that give me advantages. I still get my ass kicked.

Once I was on my horse to Leyawin(spelling), when I see a group of 5 bandits up ahead. It was too late because they spotted me, they all used paralyze on my horse and I fell down, while the rest all did their attack when I was on the ground and I died. This all happened in about three seconds.
Any mods that add more armor sets or weapons? I've added Ardonnay's swords and whatever Frans added. Just want to see if I can get more into Oblivion's item list.

Ouch. Hedge wizards are a pain in the ass when they have paralyze. Especially in OOO because you can die with just one mess up.
I ran into a faction war between Bosmer Rangers and Slyvan whatchamacallits outside of Anvil.
I steered clear of the action and hoped the good guys would win. They did.
