Jaffar died in my main quest near the end..So i Spawned another jaffar..strange enough he walked all the way back to the Blade Base.
This is not Aladdin
[editline]06:41PM[/editline]
Also, how else would he get back?
I think he means Jauffre.
Also I remember seeing this mod about an evil piece of armor.
You and an army storm this Alyied Ruin, and you put the armor on. You can either do its bidding, or make it change its ways. I can't find it. The mod's name started with an N like Nefarious or something like that.
It's time I finish the main quest once again and serve
LORD DAGON
All hail Lord-HYPNOTOAD!
All hail the Madgod
ALL Hail the guy who was killed at the start of the game even through you tried to save him
Also, I had a shitload of mods, but then had to re install :frown:
I think I'll try to install FCOM. Also, for people who are having trouble with that, I found something cool: http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=OblivionMods.Detail&id=5584
[editline]10:21PM[/editline]
Also, I've got a little problem. Oblivion won't let me set markers on towns and such, but it will let me set them on markerless areas. When I shift click the icon, it just brings up the fast travel menu.
He's talking about the lines of darkness in them.
I'd say try messing with shadow settings, maybe the shadows are getting all jacked up.
It's like that on my game too. It's the bump mapping.
I've only recently considered buying Oblivion. It looks pretty good.
Before you rate me dumb, the reason I didn't look closely at Oblivion was because I love FPSs like CounterStrike: Source and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Gotta' love those.
I looked into it recently because I've just about finished playing MW2 to death, and I don't see any worthwhile FPSs coming out soon.
When I looked at the screenshots for Oblivion, I almost slammed my head against the desk for my ignorance. :bang:
Pretty good? THIS...IS...EPIC!
I'm waiting for the next sale (i.e, Easter) to buy it off of steam.
Installed FCOM. Started a new game. Made a character based on Lord Blackwood out of Sherlock Holmes.
Unfortunately for some reason whenever an enemy gets hit by either me or another NPC it turns green. Any idea as to why this is happening?
Malevolent
Oh my god, that looks amazing, 10 hours of quest he says? A armour that will cause mindfucks? What more can you want!

You won't regret it, even without the DLC Oblivion is pretty badass. Some of the DLC adds some neat things to do (Horse armour!)
Holy fuck Malevolent looks like a fucking MUST get.
if only they'd fucking release a part 2 instead of leaving it on a cliff hanger.

In my opinion the only DLC worth getting is Shivering Isles ( which, coincidentally a lot of mods probably require ). The other ones are kinda meh.
Malevolant is awesome, though, despite the fact it requires you to have finished the main quest to even start, and isn't finished as far as I am aware.

I'm getting the Game Of The Year Edition Deluxe, so it comes with some of the most popular mods, including, I think, WarCry.
That's why I'm waiting for the price to go down.

Yeah it's a shame most of the DLC is housing, and that one weapon...the Shivering Isles are pretty cool anyway.

Thats the version I bought, you get ALL of the DLC, whereas the GotY normal version will only give you some if I remember correctly (mainly Shivering Isles and some of the housing). Prepare to press "Ok" about 50 times during the tutorial sewers, you get a lot of stuff from the DLC come up.
I had the malevolent mod but my game bugged and kept doing the "tower shake" thing, except it didn't stop after I left the immediate area... at first I thought, "oh, this is cool, this cave is affected because it's near the tower", but then I got out and went to IC and I thought "this is getting crap now".
@Above: Don't you have a save at the end of the sewer, so you don't have to do the tutorial every time? I played through once with the highest strength character I could get, so I could carry all the loot, and accepted all the DLC messages, then I select a race + equipment at the end of the sewer. Save before you leave and you can start right away.
Except when I got Windows 7 I forgot to move my saves over, then finished the dungeon with a dunmer so I couldn't carry all the stuff :( I guess I'll have to re-do the tutorial when I make a Heavy Armour based character.

No, and I regret not making one :v:

Just before you go buy something you'll regret (which trust me, you probably won't) Oblivion isn't like CoD or CS, other than it being an FPS. It's not multiplayer, and it's not like "pew pew you're dead kill another guy respawn", but what it does have is a shitton of replayability, endless mods and an active community, loads of things to do, an arena to fight in, etc.
I love it but if you hate RPGs you'll probably be a bit disappointed, screenshots don't really show what the game plays like.
All that said, it's worth a go, because it's fucking awesome. If you don't like RPGs, oblivion will make you love them. + The deluxe version on steam comes with morrowind :D

Do you want me to upload mine? I have some HA gear on me, all the leather gear and each type of weapon you find in-tutorial.
Unless my save won't work with people because I had OOO installed and stuff?
If you need a list of mods I have I'll tell.

Don't get me wrong, some of the stuff is pretty neat, but generally, you get the most content out of SI compared to the others, and some really :krad2: houses can be found for free on the nexus.
I'll probably have my character first use the "good" armor, reach status of demi-god while wearing the armor from Tyrael in Diablo (2 I think), then go shitsane with the Malevolent armor. :v:
Gotta love a bit of rollplaying.
I want your guys opinions on mods..That will make Oblivion Better.
My CPU isn't that bad but isn't a beast.
Also Link to SEX mod

Save you a fuckton of compatibility problems.
[editline]03:24AM[/editline]
eg loading up an old save that doesn't have the new mod you just installed.
