In addition to my previous post...
Don't get me wrong, Oblivion is an excellent game and I have played it many times, but I still feel Morrowind is a better quality game. Sure, Oblivion may beat Morrowind in terms of graphics, but there is a mod that allows Morrowind to look a lot better; it could even compete with Oblivion's graphics.
The story in TES: III has a lot more depth to it, and the gameplay isn't dumbed down for the player. It basically just throws you into Morrowind and you figure shit out for yourself, and sometimes you can ask the people around you for advice which makes it feel talking to people actually is useful. I also like the fact that Morrowind has no fast travel - compelling you to travel from city to city in some cases (unless you use cheats).
The only thing I am a bit disappointed with Morrowind is the lack of voice acting and the somewhat terrible combat system, but these can be improved with mods (or at least a little bit).
Briefly, Oblivion is more suitable for casual players and has an improved combat system, and Morrowind is more for hardcore roleplay players and has some problems with the combat system, but the deep story and immense world makes up for it.
that has been said 1000 times before ^^^
Also has anyone made an easier way to set up FCOM yet? Like a standalone installer of a OMOD? I've tried 3 times to get it work but it always messes up.

Makes it easier, but you still have to follow a set of instructions.
I would have like morrowind if not for its combat system. Seeing my blows physically connect but doing no damage pissed me off to no end.
snippety snip

There is no problem with the combat in either game.
Oblivion is more of an FPS is terms of its combat; it takes no real skill to win, instead it takes cleverness and brute strength/determination.
Morrowind is more of an RPG in that it's much more dependent of skill than it is on any sort of cleverness or determination.
When I say skill, I, of course, mean the skills the game gives you, i.e. Blunt, Marksman etc.

Keep in mind Morrowind still requires some 'cleverness' in combat.
ex.
Avoiding fireballs from a mage attacking you until he runs out of magicka, then you charge in.

I suppose, but in comparison to Oblivion, where things happen more quickly, you need less cleverness, it what I was trying to say.
I'm not very good at saying what I mean.
Have you clicked the tab that says "View Teleport Marker"?
Also, you can upload it on megaupload, by placing it in a .RAR file.
I have Sir.
Hm.

That's your opinion mate.
Morrowind was horrible, enough said.

I prefer Oblivion, some prefer Morrowind. Does it matter? They're both good.

Im gonna poop.
I like Morrowind and Oblivion equally for different reasons.
I'm such a rebel.
You're fucking dumb.
no im not
no im not
I'm afraid that you show all the qualities of a complete retard.
I hated Morrowind mainly because the combat sucked and I always felt lost. (Had it on XBOX so I couldn't get mods to improve it)
no im not
You're either dumb, or under 10 years old.
I installed Warcry but it just made my game crash everytime I loaded it so I'm just using Fransescos Leveled Creatures instead. Might get U.V. for dual wielding.

Vanilla Oblivion beats vanilla Morrowind, definitely.
But with the right mods, Morrowind is sheer gaming ecstasy.
Does anyone else get a problem with OOO + MMM (might be other mods, but I don't think so) that cause other enemy NPCs to just kind of ignore you unless you attack/get near them?
The mod turns it so that a small chance may happen that the creatures are shy, if confronted or attacked they might flee, or fight you, If you approach them, They will attack.
Simply said - They don't care, they don't want to fight you.
