I'm stuck in the Cycle of Oblivion. Play Oblivion. Some months later, get bored, uninstall/format hardrive. Someone on forums mentions Oblivion Nostalgia Install Oblivion Repeat
Amen, brother. Ain't it the truth.
I forgot this, reinstalling now with FCOM, I hope. Going to start a new game, Hans Hard-hands represent.
I'm stuck in the Cycle of Oblivion. Play Oblivion. Some months later, get bored, uninstall/format hardrive. Someone on forums mentions Oblivion Nostalgia Install Oblivion Repeat
yeah it sucks. I'm thinking about buying Morrorwind some time. I know it's possible to enjoy Oblivion if you enjoyed Morrorwind, but is it possible to enjoy Morrorwind if you played Oblivion?
It's possible but it's much harder.
Goddammit, I have the urge to play again. Why am I still addicted?

If you enjoy RPGs like Oblivion, it's still worth it to try out Morrowind. I highly recommend it, as i've always thought of Morrowind as the better game, though very unforgiving. Expect to get slaughtered a lot.
I played through the game as a redguard warrior and finished the main quest. What should I do now? I spent around 40 hours on my first play through, and mainly spent that time looking for good items. But.. I have some really good equipment already. I don't really need to find anything new. So what else should I do? Exploring feels like a bore, because I'm not really looking for anything. It's fun to do quests but they aren't very engaging because there is little reward now. I also beat the Fighters Guild and Arena quests
Where's a good place to kill bears? I need hides because i have been expelled from the Figthers Guild.
Are there certain mods that don't work with the Steam version? And if so, is there a list?
So I'm thinking about starting anew (once again) and uninstalling this game and reinstalling it. I'm thinking about installing... FCOM (Possibly) MMM OOO Deadly Reflex Unecessary Violence Keriger's Death Quest Intergration That chocolate elf race mod Some body replacement mods. Can't decide what to get. Midas Magic What other magic mod do you guys suggest besides Midas Magic?

Several are quite awesome, but not saying that the rest of them aren't. You can always try the Mages or Thieves Guilds. Or... The Dark Brotherhood. (Very awesome storyline) [editline]02:44PM[/editline] P.S. Fucking nostalgia'd, thinking about re-buying the game. There are SO MANY things I miss.
I think I've played this game for at least 400+ hours.
I think I've played this game for at least 400+ hours.
Same. And I know my brother has logged over 900 hours, according to his save files that I have gandered at.. I am impressed by this.
I've tried many different mods ranging from quests to visual enhancement, but I always end up becoming bored again. I soo want to play this again, but I just can't.
Cycling between Morrowind and Oblivion seems to work well for me. I play MW for a couple thousand hours, then jump over to Oblivion for a couple hundred. Then i repeat.
http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22819 This is new to me. And good.
Just reinstalled Oblivion and then I installed OOO, DarkUI Danified (or whatever the hell its called), OBGE, Streamline, & Operation Optimization and somehow most of the stone wall around Weynon Priory (or whatever that place outside Chorrol is called) is all giant yellow exclamation marks :c Anybody have this issue before?
LAME and RBP
Yeah, well, I don't have a choice with those two if I want to play Intergration.
I hated how everyone had the same body. Fat heads and six packs. Also all the NPC's seemed to be doing nothing. Hopefulle Elder scrolls 5 will fix this.
If there is another elder scrolls game I will seriously cry. I for one don't think it's possible.

Make sure you have some form archive invalidation set up to force the game to pick up the correct materials. A popular one is "ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated!" If that's not the case, I believe OOO might be at fault. It adds the most amount of models to the game- make sure everything went where it was supposed to.
Ah Fuck..I just gave a copy to a friend. Also anyone know any great mods that make the wild more intense and intersting?
adoring fan meets the annoying man. DO IT!!!! kkthx gnight.

Did Archive Invalidation through OBMM and I reinstalled OOO and I still have the missing meshes. Ah well. Also, this a list of nonsexy armor mods for Oblivion. I remember it was posted way back in the thread but I'll post it here for newcomers and those that don't wanna wade through dozens of pages. http://tesnexus.com/articles/article.php?id=318
What is this http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=24334 doing on that list?
