8 Times i accidentally wore the Gray Cowl of Nocturnal while fast traveling to a city :eng99:
Thank god for the invisibility spell.
I prefer using potions for my Invisibility needs.

Hey the invisibility spell lasts 30 seconds, makes me completely invisible (even with low sneak).
All i have to do is take off the cowl while invisible and then yield to a gaurd and they talk to me as if nothing happened (even though they hit me like 5 times.)
Alchemy that explains it.
I'm a spell blade.
I don't really think the main quest is as good as the sidequests at all.
I have the GOTY edition for Xbox 360. Finished Main Quest just recently, and then Shivering Isles. This game is way fucking good, but I'm running out of things to do. I'm done with all factions except for half of Fighters Guild.
Level 23, and I have full Glass Armor (including shield and longsword), full Daedra Armor (including shield and longsword), full Umbra Ebony Armor including the Umbra Sword (30 base damage), and Imperial Dragon Armor. Also got Mithril and Elven. What more exciting stuff is there to collect?
This is why mods were invented, and why you should have got the PC version instead if possible.
What's a good way to make lots of money in this game? I'm doing the basic "grab everything you can get your hands on that has value" thing during quests and then selling them, but I wonder if there's a faster way
Duplicate shit and sell it!

Nah, my computer can't run Oblivion.
No one answered my previous question. Which body mod do you all suggest? There's so many to choose from.
I was just comparing body replacers yesterday, my favorites are Roberts Male Body v5 and HG Eye Candy. They both include underwear versions.
If you're using both be sure to install HGEC last or else the female khajiits textures will be messed up.
Try playing first oblivion gate like that :)
Fffuuu-
I survived for ten minutes because I was good with a bow and found some dwemer armor on a dead Ranger. It was hell though. I'm not going back till I'm level 20 or something.
By the nine divine! Assault! ASSAULT!
Stop right there criminal scum!
Are there any mods that allow you to build your own settlement from the ground up, getting rid of all the other developed settlements? Kind of like an "Early colonial" type of thing?
like the settler for fallout 3 but for oblivion?
that would be cool

Yes, a bit like that.
I really hope this come to a sale on steam soon!
It's pretty cheap already dude.
Also, anyone know if there's any mods that allow you to become an Imperial Legion Guard or something like that? I would LOVE that.
Just curious, what would you do as an Imperial Guard?

STOP THE CRIMINAL SCUM, of course.
STOP THE CRIMINAL SCUM, of course.
Stop right there criminal scum! No one breaks the law on my watch! It's illegal to impersonate an imperial guardsmen, punishable by death, or life in jail. You're coming with me.

This is the only one I know of, but you gotta join the community to get access to it:

I could never play this game without the mods.

Thanks, apparently this mod is still being updated, newest version was released today.
Too bad I can never get to play it because you need 'Cyrodiil Upgrade Resource Pack V1.4.8' and the links to it are broken. EVERY link. EVERY SINGLE LINK.

Submit a complaint to the Elder Council. I'm sure they'll take care of it.

I did but then High Chancellor Ocato yelled at me and the Palace Guards threw me out.
I'm thinking of re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-reinstalling this? Should I/what should I do?

A mod like that'd be awesome.
Just port the settler mod from FO3.
Just port the settler mod from FO3.
Won't that make it glitch out?

Despite the fact you'd have to change all of the textures and scripts, as well as the objects needed, it probably wouldn't be that difficult.
(I know nothing about it though, so it would probably actually take forever.)

Yeah, we need someone to do that.
