I've tried malevolent before. It always crashed in the last dungeon at the end. Is it safe to assume that's been fixed?

I think FCOM alone makes Oblivion more prone to crashing, atleast it did for me. Before I could play for days without crashing, now it happens all the time, often when I'm quicksaving, good thing there's a quicksave backup.

I never use fast travel so I have over 80 hours of gameplay racked up and I'm not even halfway through the main quest. :saddowns:

I always crashed when leaving the sewers with FCOM.
I had FCOM with Bob's armory, the blunt weapon thingy, unofficial Fran's armor addon, unofficial fran's level 30+ weapons, and a bunch of other stuff.

My computer is a bit mediocre but can max out oblivion without anti-aliasing.

I need to upgrade, maybe if I get enough money I'll get a 4870. Wait that would require a new power supply, so it wouldn't be possible.
I can max out oblivion but if I don't want it to slow down when i get into a heavily forested area I need to turn off anti aliasing
And then I installed Qarls and then my oblivion got all slow and unplayable :( so i had to manually remove everything

Alright, I somehow fixed the crashing problem from before, but now I have an even more crippling one.
After I clear out Kvatch all the way to the gates to the keep or w/e and get that guy to go to the gatehouse, everytime I climb up the ladder into the gatehouse my game crashes.

To take screenshots you have to enable it in the oblivion.ini, it's in "documents\my games\oblivion". Change it from:

Then you can take screenshots with print screen I think it is, they're stored in the game folder. I prefer to use fraps though, I've experienced the game overwriting older screenshots.

Go to My Documents, then go to My Games, Oblivion, then open the Oblivion file. (The icon should be a notepad with a little gear.)
Hit Ctrl-F and type in:
bAllowScreenShot
The first result should be:
bAllowScreenShot=0
Replace the 0 with a 1, then save and press Print Screen ingame to take a picture.
For getting it on Facepunch, go to [url]www.filesmelt.com[/url], click 'Upload', then navigate to the Oblivion folder.
Simply double-click on the picture file, it should automatically upload. Paste the link on your post, then cap the ends of the link like this:
[IMG]LINKHERELINKHERE[/IMG] (Obviously, replace LINKHERE with the picture's link.)
And presto, if it's done correctly it should appear.
