wow i think i missed out by not playing lbp
makes me want a ps3 now
[editline]09:06PM[/editline]
and uncharted 2
After i got my PC, i always thought (and knew) that no consoles could match it.
But damn. With limitations comes imagination and new ideas and technologies to make stuff work better while not requiring as much power.
I mean, look at Uncharted 2.. A PC with 512MB RAM, and a 7800GT would not run a game looking as good as that.
I love the results of developers attempting to squeeze every little bit of computing power out of theese small, prebuilt machines with inferior hardware. The results are amazingly good.
So, say I'm a dumbass and never even tried out the first Little Big Planet, should I consider getting this?
I mean I'm not sure what to expect of this game, are you supposed to make your own levels and download ones that others made or what?
If so count me in, I love stuff like that. :v:
Yup. :v:
Can a mod change the thread name to LittleBigPlanet 2 Discussion ?

Hmm...
I was always a (Sort-of) Famous creator on LBP.
I'm gonna recreate my levels, just cuz I can :D
(My username is natedude . Check me out. )
We need an LBP Megathread.
We need an LBP Megathread.
agreed
God damn this is awesome. Definitely on my "Must fucking get on release date or slit your neck list".
God damn this is awesome. Definitely on my "Must fucking get on release date or slit your neck list".
might I ask what else is on that list?
agreed
Working on it.
The PS3 is starting to sound better than my Xbox. Damnit.
New info from the Qore episode
.you change the size of body parts on not only the sackbots but also your sackperson essentially you can possibly make your sack person a BBW or thin as a stick if you really want to
.sackboy will do flips while jumping while holding right on the joy stick
also you get a spiffy hat as a download after you buy the episode.

Red Dead Redemption (preordered).
Not a big list, really. :v:

Will that do?
Might be worth buying a PS3 over. The first one seemed pretty good but it never made me consider getting a console just for that game.
Didn't get the first one, but totally getting this one
Sure the game will be good (we can't see all this in a trailer, because they were focused on creating tools). But I was disappointed in one thing: When I first heard a rumor that they are developing LBP2 couple of years ago, first thing that came into my head was "Even cooler physics" You know, like fractal destructions, deformation, real water..

Yes it will :v:
I hope Stephen Fry is doing the voice acting again, like he did in the first.

Just found some info about LBP2's features, you should take a look if you're interested.
My favourite by far is:
Place the new level-linking 'badge' in your level and you can seamlessly transport players to another. Useful for building multi-level games as well as for collector types to create level hubs for great levels that they've found
Level hubs ftw!
When LBP2 comes out there is bound to be a LBP subforum.

It hasn't been touched in months.
They should at least make this for PC, so 360 gamers can experience it too, but I own a PS3 myself, so...
Song + Trailer = :psyboom:
And whoever doesn't like the song, has no sense of style.

I hate valve and media molecule, they always make everything exciting to the point where you don't know what you are doing/saying/posting.
They should at least make this for PC, so 360 gamers can experience it too (..)
Because every 360 gamer has a PC capable of playing games.
Because every 360 gamer has a PC capable of playing games.
They did say in a very old interview that they had a version of LBP working on the PC at Mm but it wasn't very fun to play, very cumbersome and not very intuitive.
I think Alex Evans might have even have gone on to say it was "utter shit", but my memory might just be making that last bit up.
I got goosebumps
Me too!, I also did when I saw the first game, now that feeling has gone :ohdear:
But now it has returned again :keke:
