That's 16 maps total just like they promised. Still I think they should add more. Dunno if they're gonna make Arsenal maps playable in Competitive/Casual (Arsenal Mode works on classic maps though). Would be great if they did, but disappointed that there aren't more maps.
I'm quite sure Valve will continue adding new maps and content to CS:GO. They seem to like doing that nowadays with their games.

I actually like the idea that you have to think about who you're shooting at before you shoot, it adds an interesting angle to the game when your team is sweeping through a building full of rooms. Besides, your cross-hair also turns into big X when it's over a team member right?
TF2 pre-order item for CSGO should be an AK-47 to replace the Sniper's SMG, or a Deagle to replace the Spy's Ambassador.

Is it even possible to join friends in a game? When I try to join someone in a game it says the server is 10/34 , when a slot does free up and I join it just says failed to retry after 4 tries.

It worked for me when i did join game through steam friends, not through server info tho

When I try to join a friend, I either crash, or nothing happens unless I'm lucky
