The animations aren't too bad of a thing actually.
Could be a tad unrealistic when someone gets blasted in the face with a shotgun though.
I would rather have my body flop down some stairs than lay down and cover my head.
One of the reasons I didn't like Left 4 Dead 2 (though it made sense because of the whole defib thing).

You "just" need some luck and patience for a good trade.
I got a Dota 2 key for CSS (5€) long time ago where some players traded it for Skyrim (50€).
Id quite like deaths to look... Good?
Maybe tweak the weights of things. Plus have good transitioning and blending between animation and ragdol.
Although certain maps would benefit from crazy body physics. When you are sliding along a pink and triangular slide, Getting telleported regularly and shooting at Simpsons- Realism is not going to be the desired.

Valve has little experience in them, so they've been teaming up with Asian studios like Nexon and Taito for a good while trying different things. Since they legally NEED a Chinese company to handle DOTA2 in China for them (they simply can't operate the game themselves over there), this could be seen as further practice and building business relationships.

If you have the beta, you'll notice that Baggage uses different player models from the rest of the maps so far.
I wonder if the zombie mode will be a Left 4 Dead-ish versus survival mode (akin to the CSS zombie mod), or one with hordes of bot zombies like in normal L4D survival mode and COD Zombies. Kind of hoping for the latter, personally.

I don't see a problem with it. If I join a game full of AWPers or people who are constantly steamrolling my team, I just leave and rejoin. It almost always pairs me up with different people.

Hopefully it's a Zombie mode with sub game types. It's coming post release anyhow, it'd be cool if they made the mode a big feature. Or maybe they could add new game types later in future updates too.

I don't have the beta but you could probably save the IP address and use the console and the 'connect x' query.
I can already see the Zombie Mode being considered "DLC" for the Xbox version, if it ever makes it to Xbox that is.
I can't even think about buying a console version of CS:GO
I'll probably get the Xbox version, from what I've seen the translation of controls and movement (for the most part) is pretty well done.
Crouching is left trigger, left bumper is switching between primary and secondary, right bumper is cycle grenades, "Y" is switch to knife or Zeus if you bought one. Can't remember much more than that.
