That doesn't make it any faster, it just causes you to fill the delay with the weapon switch animations, as opposed to the bolt pull animation.
Since I'm really interested in CS:GO, I sat down with CS:S for a bit today.
I never realized how much fun Counter-Strike is. I feel I'm doing really well for my first day, but I'm having a blast!

Finding time for counterstrike can be hard with a full time job when all you really want to do when you're at home is either sleep or go out.

Thats how it works in CS:S. Because you can spot people super-fast. I am afraid they will make this harder in CS:GO
They have already made maps that are made for competitive play; reducing the level of detail. I think this should be avoided by making them less detailed in the first place.

I've been playing CS:S aswell lately since I've been in a Valve<3 state for some weird reason...
Thing is, even low latency seems to fuck up the accuracy.
If I play with the bots on hard, I do mad shit. If I play with real players in a server (lowest of lowbobs compared to the bots on hard mind you) I can't do half of what I did with the bots, even though they'll put a bullet between my eyes faster than a real person.
Still, it seems the mouse I have sucks ass. I'm better with the laptop mouse (a small one from microsoft)
So I just got into the CSGO Beta, tried it, and oh wow, this game's badass. And I really like the menu music.
Imo they added blur on zoom to tell player when his shot will be accurate.

That's a pathetic excuse, the reason you're doing so well against bots is because they're fucking bots.
Even the expert ones are dummer than rocks.

Well, the CSGO Beta suddenly landed in my steam inventory and I installed it, so...
damn filled out the form like a month n half ago now still nothing :(
Although its allowing me to appreciate CSS even more has ill probably not play it once I get GO.

I waited for dota and it took ages. Three or four weeks. Sold one for bf3
I forgot about csgo. Got it a few weeks ago. much better. I still have two extra copies.. It's worth nearly NOTHING but i will trade it for all your worldly possessions <3 But anyway it's painfull to wait.. go play csgo while you are waiting?

Not on Source.
On easy, they give you 2 to 3 seconds to shoot at them while they stare at you, although they might score a few headshots. They wont time their fire, so if they have an AK, its a recoil party, but beware...
Medium, they cut down that time to about 1 second, maybe 2, and then go for the head. Still don't quite time their fire right.
Hard, they wont fire right away at a long range, but they will control the fire more. Bots with the Aug/SG552 and AWP are deadly as fuck already. They will even go from cover to cover shooting at you with timed fire to handle recoil.
And on expert, its almost as if they had auto-aim and wallhack. As soon as you're in range, they'll fire a bullet straight at your head, without missing the shot. No matter the weapon.
They dont quite need to be smart if they can just shoot you down the nanosecond they see you (literally)
I'm also almost 100% certain that this game STILL has big issues with hitboxes.
Also, I hope they add movement to the weapon viewmodels while you walk.

Ummmm they already gave out thousands of keys for the people who did it as soon as it came out, me and my friend did it as soon as it came out because we were on at the time and we got a key 2 weeks ago when they said they were giving out keys to the first people. I bet thousands and thousands did it the first day but it doesn't matter, if they weren't in the first ones they didn't get a key simple as that.
