I've played it for a while, I am addicted to it but I don't quite like it. I mean the game looks fantastic in beta stages but it needs some work.
I'm hoping they add sprays, overhaul the classic server browser and put in a new one (full screen) and fix some of the animations. The deagle animation is dodgy as fuck
However, it's pretty good.

Beta will be until the game is done, which is probably going to be a few more months still, they don't even have unique flowmaps for the water in maps like lake yet, something I bet they're going to add just before release.

Another week without CS:GO. A friend who dont like CS recieved it as a gift, played some minutes and then he uninstalled it.

Goddamn the recoil is bad. I walked up behind a bot who was standing still, took my time making sure I was pointing directly at his head with the AK-47, and let loose. Not a single shot hit hm in the head.
And speaking of headshots, I'm getting more of them with pistol spray and shotgun fire than I am with the ak/aug/m16 etc etc, and not from a lack of trying. This is ridiculous. It's like my bullets are trying to draw outlines of the player I'm shooting at.
That said, I'm still heavily enjoying it, extremely glad I got into the beta. Playing with bots is a lot more fun when you can take over another bot if you screw up. It's much more conducive to solo play.

My reaction on the morning, when i opened steam, popup showed up and told that i now have the Global Saturation´s (RE - joke) beta.
A guy on my list I buy loads of games, raged at me last night because I gifted another friend Max Payne 1 and 2.
He gets into the beta today, gifts some guy he barely knows a key. Fuck sake.
I have dota 2 keys if anyone has any spare copies of CS:GO, been really looking forward to this game.
Could people stop asking/cellebtating on beta keys?
i was considering giving stuff out on the forum. But i don't see why a bunch of whiners should get them

I've been waiting too long for this beta. I watched people that dont care for it getting that and not playing it. I just wish i had an invite. I even tried to trade some games but that didnt work. You know. 60$ for a beta. Other than that i can just hope in a miracle since it seems i wont get in.

I'm in the same boat, if I get an invite, I'll make sure you get the spare key.
I have 600+ hours on CS:S and still no key.

Hate to ask but I've been seeing people trading CSGO keys for Dota lately, I still have a spare Dota key for trade if anyone is willing.
Wow, a lot of people got in today. That's awesome.
Sigh, it's sad to see some of my friends with it for a long time but played less than a fucking hour of it.
