There are other methods of getting one's password.
There are other methods of getting one's password.
no method of bypassing steam gaurd
Not Global Offensive related, but Counter Strike related. Look at what Valve sent to me today! [t]http://www.imgur.com/0zBBB.jpg[/t]
no method of bypassing steam gaurd
I was jacked before steam guard was a thought.

We'll just ban you from playing these games and accuse you of hacking. If you want to play them you'll have to buy them again since we love money and can't get enough of it. I wish I could give away my key considering I can't use it since Valve is a piece of shit. [editline]16th April 2012[/editline] Oh cool my friend managed to host a server without VAC
Valve is only harsh because it's the same shit over and over, honestly I think it'd be better if VAC2 (or 3) was just a year waiting period on just the game not the engine.
God damn I hate playing this game because of its damn recoil/spread. It's so bullshit. How do I do that +weapon_recoil_mode 0 thing? Doesn't show as a valid console command.
They're allowed to be harsh on bans now with Steam Guard, considering it's nearly impossible to get hacked unless you're an idiot
Yeah well I got hijacked way before steam guard okay?
I would suggest to make a new steam account and purchase all future VAC-games with that. (Which would mean the minor inconvenience of switching between steam accounts if you want to play games that are on the other account.) And other than dealing with it (playing on non-VAC servers) or re-buying them on a new account, there's nothing possible that can be done. No matter how innocent and cheated by the system you feel you are.
no method of bypassing steam gaurd
I had my email stolen back at Christmas so they could bypass Steam Guard. Luckily they didn't hack or anything,
After forwarding a few ports so I can successfully connect to CS:GO servers (odd, considering I've never had to this for any other online game I've played, including 1.6 and Source), I discovered that I'm suffering from the bug that prevents the game from connecting to the matchmaking/ranking servers. From what I've read, people have fixed this via: A) Switching to another Steam content server location, or B) Attempting to join the same server as a friend, via Friends, and then re-joining via Quick Match I've tried A to no avail but haven't had the opportunity to try B. In the meantime, I was wondering if anybody knows of any other fixes/workarounds? What I find most interesting is that this bug appears to be account-specific -- some have reported being able to successfully join games when playing from a friend's account only to run into the bug again when switching back to their own account, despite using the same PC and Steam/game installation.
no method of bypassing steam gaurd
People are dumb and use the same password for everything and yet say the password to fake sites
They are waaaay to strict about vac bans. Even if you have all the evidence in the world, they wont unban. They isn't one recorded VAC unban ever im pretty sure.
It's responsability of the owner of the account, anyway I already saw lot of unban, including people who was hijacked and they cheated... but looks like it's not everytime they do that..
The steam friend I gave my extra invite to was VAC banned also.
Could fly up to valve HQ, get on your knees and cry your eyes out.. Might work
They isn't one recorded VAC unban ever im pretty sure.
Erm... no. http://www.vacbanned.com/listing/unbanned
im just terrible at cs im just thinking of ways to avoid putting myself in scenarios where i get shot in the face, i think i rush way too much
Rushing can really pay off if you've got good aim.
Still need to get my friend a key, since im posting this too much in this thread, this will hopefully be my last, see my steam invent and pick anything (even orange box and dota 2 + tf2 items) for a csgo key
AFAIK (I have my doubts about this, but I was told) that you can bypass a steam guard by re-routing where the confirm email goes in steam. (I have no idea, like I said, I was told.) Is this physically impossible or?
Random question, but would anyone be interested in a media archive of CS:GO? I mean a download containing all of the promotional screenshots, concept artworks, menu music tracks, and official videos. Or is that stuff too common for people to care about having it all in one spot?
That would actually be great, theres plenty of people who are interested in things like that, and it would be great to have it all in the OP of a megathread or something, such as this thread
Ok you know what, I just got 4 more dota 2 invites, so im willing to give 3 dota 2 invites for 1 csgo invite. Because I really want to get my friend a key.
They are waaaay to strict about vac bans. Even if you have all the evidence in the world, they wont unban. They isn't one recorded VAC unban ever im pretty sure.
Drunken_Fool was unbanned when he got hired by Valve. Fuck knows why they hired his dumb ass.
AFAIK (I have my doubts about this, but I was told) that you can bypass a steam guard by re-routing where the confirm email goes in steam. (I have no idea, like I said, I was told.) Is this physically impossible or?
Well yeah if you can somehow read someone's e-mail and get the code then steam guard won't do anything. Steam guard only works if you can keep your e-mails safe.
Drunken_Fool was unbanned when he got hired by Valve. Fuck knows why they hired his dumb ass.
So he'd stop running around breaking everything they make?
So he'd stop running around breaking everything they make?
maybe he is hired to fix exploits in there games and such
So will completing the survey on Steam do anything to get in? I just finished it and I'm not really active in any CS "communities".
Drunken_Fool was unbanned when he got hired by Valve. Fuck knows why they hired his dumb ass.
actually that account still banned http://steamcommunity.com/id/df he is just using another one
Found this on SPUF: If we really get this kind of diversity among character models then I say this will be great.
I really love these concepts, the female concepts are an interesting idea and make sense in context of the faction. How would they implement them, though?
I really love these concepts, the female concepts are an interesting idea and make sense in context of the faction. How would they implement them, though?
They'd probably just another random skin within the faction that would show up, like there are random skins right now. They'd have to be built very similarly and have the exact same hitbox for balance, though.
Those concepts of the terrorists and counter-terrorists are pretty good. But i dont see there the Yakuza concepts. There are about them?
