4 bots, 1 doorway. Never ends well.

Where's the bomb?
It's under the barrel

I was referring to the bot's lines that they repeated for like 10 times while running around the bomb :v:

Long after humanity has ended, there will be two video game servers still active. One will be a Deathmatch Classic server where bots endlessly kill each other with the shitty default shotgun and crowbar while having pesudo-conversations, while the second will be a Team Fortress Classic server filled with bots slowly walking (even Scouts!) across 2Fort's bridge while occasionally falling into the water and drowning because they weren't programmed to go up for air and are too slow to get through the water passage in time. The ones that manage to get across and enter the enemy's base will be gunned down by the Sentry an Engineer bot places when a new round always starts, and they'll never be able to blow it up because they aren't smart enough to actually take one out.

There might be a CSS server also, where bots endlessly talk to each other about the bomb and how great they are
they also are endlessly defeated by their greatest nemeses, doors and physics objects
I wonder if surfing and the likes will be as popular. I'm a huge fan of it and I hope Valve doesn't break it.

Mhm. SO true. Some of the beauty of CS:S is the simple mods.

That's a rumor. Archeologists will try to find it, but at the time of this post, it's location will still be unknown. If found, it will be a great find, and will help the next species fill in the blanks about why humans enjoyed creating programmable versions of themselves in virtual realities that do the exact same things over and over, and hopefully unlock the mystery of the strange icongraphy and symbolism in the "2fort" virtual location and in the various "levels" in the Deathmatch Classic server. What does a red skull stand for? Why is there a y-shaped symbol scattered throughout Deathmatch Classic's levels? What is the symbolism behind two blocky bases separated by a bridge in a late afternoon desert? Hopefully, the discovery of the "counter-Strike: Source" server will help solve these mysteries.

It would actually be interesting to see a post-apoc/cyberpunk story in which humanity has died out but game servers still run, and are analyzed by the next dominant species of the planet. That or bots go rampant as they become intelligent enough to recognize that they will be stuck in the game forever, as a technological hell of some sort.
Can i have an Key please?

but then they get out of the servers into the real world with magical plot device

Seems like they have to. Bite de_dust.

A wizard did it
If the bots escapes, they wouldn't kill everyone. Instead, they'd start building replicas of the levels they were in for hundreds of years. People would be pretty confused when they see the bots go out and do things like build a replica of the TFC 2fort in the middle of Arizona, then start putting in green backpacks filled with ammo, first aid kits and kelvar vests in it. Then they'd get worried when the bots would try to buy heavy ordinance such as rocket launchers and build their own sentry guns.
Counter Strike: Global Offensive: Bot Apocalypse

I'd like them to add Nuke.
CS:GO seems alright to me (still going to buy it) just because it kinda looks like Battlefield 3 and it's going on to console. Counter- Strike is just turning into a generic FPS.

it's still just about nothing like CoD or Battlefield

Wrong, CS is completely unique in the FPS genre
how many other series are like it gameplay-wise? CS is still one of the only series where skill and reflexes are some of the biggest factors, not who shoots first
Have anyone played BF3? Oh God the low recoil on some of the rifles there. CS is a tactical shooter. And I hope it will never morph into MW3/BF3 style.
You're missing one big thing; CS fans HATE adapting. If you alter even one thing that will affect their l33t pro perfect strategies, they'll lose their shit and demand Valve change it back.
I loved adapting my strategy though, thats how I play all my games. ever since i played tf2 i see every route clearly and know my potential in getting different ways quickly.
Got to play it at CES this year, shit was cash

you completely missed my point. CS was one of the first games to bring the "warzone, lots of guns, lots of bullets at once, but you still need strategy" type gameplay.
