Do you think they will add in the old buy menu? As like an option for the older players who prefer it? Wouldn't be a lot of work.
Ehh. Maybe they would. I don't think they would, though, the new one is perfectly fine, there's nothing wrong with it at all either, the old one is also more of a hassle to use.
I know the new one is more simplified, just I was really used to the last one after years of playing, I'm sure a good few people are the same.
Is there a list of things they plan on adding in? Like it really needs a bot filter, and there is no ping display.
Will they be adding in sprays and a way to choose your character? Just some things that made CS stand out from the normal games.
Meh here and there...
I don't even use the buy screen anymore. I just click the keys without looking :v:

Once you get used to it the new one is much faster and easier to use. Leave the old one where it is.
Oh yeah it's much faster but the other things sort of defined CS and separated it from other games y'know

Things change over time. Please don't be like all the people on the CS:GO Steam forums that complain everything is not 1.6

Out of all things you could possibly complain about being changed in GO, you bring up the fucking buy menu? Despite the fact that not many games use buy menus like CS still, and that all Valve did was change how it's laid out. Please stop acting like the new buy menu in GO is somehow a dramatic change in gameplay.

I love dis wall.
I like how I can actually run the beta on my laptop. I was worried I wouldn't be able to.
Someone talked before in this thread about the tactical shield? At this time, it looks like it will not be added, although for me it would be cool have it.
But looks like a lot of people didnt liked it. Why?

Haha jesus stop being a prick, I don't think it's a dramatic difference, I like the look and all of it, and I already said I probably just have to get used to it. It's in beta for a reason to find out what people like and don't like, and right now I just prefer the old buy menu. I like the new one, but I prefer the old one, there's not much to it, it's not dramatic as you imply. Also I never play 1.6. I'm just mentioning some things I think they should change because well, it's a beta.
daily key whoring post
does anyone know if the stats & achievements will be carried over from the beta to the main game?
I sure hope so.
So I had a go at CS:GO
I don't like it. It feels like CoD or something like that. Every time you do something there's dramatic strings in the background, everything seems to have some grime filter over it, there's no contrast or colours. The movement feel is more like CS:Source (which isn't a bad thing, I guess they wanted to keep the CSS fans). Also I like the HL2 generation menus more (which originated from HL1 generation games, why fix something that's not broken?)
Oh and I love CSS, had tons of fun there. This just feels like a downgrade with different graphics.
Edit:
okay it seems to depend on the map (some arms race map was horrible), dust is okay but still it could use some color
there's no contrast or colours
there's more contrast than CS:S in my opinion... CS:S was pretty dull
I hope (and assume) there'll be an option to disable the post processing in the final game. I've seen a screenshot of Aztec without it, it's much more colorful and clear.

I don't think they will be since the game has gone through a lot of gameplay changes and you could get some achievements really easy.
This bug related with the bots in Bank was reported?:

Great thread, valid points. HDR in games should increase the dynamic range (the extremities of your image retain detail/contrast), yet it always seems to be the opposite. There you have your developers making nice and detailed textures, and then they completely undo that work by adding blooming. The human eye has a pretty good dynamic range, so it is obvious that having a dynamic range that matches that of the human eye will yield more realistic results. Realism!=effects with (for photographers negative) aesthetic value
In general, HDR effects in games comes down to adding all effects that a photographer tries to avoid (and that the human eye simply does not have)
Was hesitant after I saw gameplay vids and so on... In love after trying it, I love the graphics,
love the new look and the new weapons. Only thing that kinda bothers me is the gun-feeling.
god damn it, I just found a CS 1.6 gamplay of mine from 2003.

I think they should add more shooting through the wall, like in CS 1.6.
Hey Turing I have a spare key.

Seriously, stop. If all you're going to do is beg for keys then get out.
