Y'know, I really don't care if I get a key. It would be cool to be able to play the game pre-release and help out the development, but waiting until the game is polished to play is fine too.
I'd definitely never beg for a key, especially since I'd want to invite my best friend too, if I got in.

Thing is, some people who want CS:GO might not be on. Kinda want to be somewhat fair with it. I don't want to manage a shit ton of ratings.

I do. While It has some visibility issues and it lacks customization, it gives great info. I hated it at first, but after talking to the lead dev and testing it out I now use it, and I mostly do better. It tells you when recoil is at it's highest, when to burst/tap again, accuracy, etc.

CS:S doesn't have a func_vehicle. It uses some other sort of method
I don't get this game. It drops randomly from 60+ fps to 10 fps. Then goes back up for a very short amount of time, then goes back down. And, in Arms Race, I lag so much on both maps. Anyone got any ideas? I turned down all my settings from highest to lowest, and there was no significant increase/decrease in fps.

The majority of graphics options don't work, the only that do are shadows, AA and AF last time I checked. Also, it isn't too optimized yet.

do you have a laptop? could be CPU throttling.

If he has a laptop then he should check Nvidia Optimus settings. Optimus loves to run games automatically with integrated Intel's card.

Yes, I'm run all my games on my laptop. But this never happens to other games. Just CS:GO.

Right click on your desktop and select Nvidia control panel. You can add CS:GO executable there and select video card.
