so I just got votekicked out of a game for doing really well - and having 2k hours on Gmod. Someone was bitching that there was no way I could be this good at CS with such little play time, when I explained that I played a lot in the past they were like "NO YOU ONLY HAVE 385 IN CSS AND 24 IN CS GTFO HACKER". I tried explaining that Steam didn't start recording time until about 2010 and that this wasn't my first account but they still went through with it. I was only like 20-3 too.

I think it depends on the time of day you join. Also, the maplist starts with Aztec.

Why do so many people who have the beta think they'll get the game for free when it's out? Of course you're going to have to buy it.

The game seems kinda alpha to me actually, i mean not to be a dickwad but i can shoot pretty well, this game got some horrendous recoil.

I run this game maxed on an ATI card. Is your ATI card an older one?
All I can say is that this will be fun vacation. New rig and CS:GO. Still won't replace 1.6 or CS:S for me.

It's Counter-Strike, you have to handle the recoil and use it to your advantage to get headshots.
Holy shit I want CS:GO so bad. I've watched so much videos but never got a chance to play it.

Also, just got the "Ballistic" CS:S achievement today (Kill 5 enemies within 15 minutes) with an awp.
Needless to say I was extremely excited, especially because they were all headshots and one included a 1 shot 2 headshot kill.
The only chance I got to play CS:GO was at the Freeplay Arena at PAX East this year. I must've spent at least 2 hours on a LAN with other people around there playing it.
I'm starting to enjoy the beta. At first I was absolutely awful at it (I'm usually pretty decent at CSS), but I'm getting better. The weapons handle a lot differently from CS and CSS (the recoil is different) which takes some time getting used to.
I liked CS:GO back when the servers were still 5 v 5. It was actually my first time playing 5v5 as max teams before and I immensely dislike it. Now I dislike anything bigger. I can't stand 32 player servers though. Didn't know how different they were.

You can still play official 5v5 servers you know.
I wish they would make the damn server browser scaleform, too.

Yea, but whenever I use 'Find a Game' it pitches me in an empty de_aztec and I hate aztec
I also wish you could open the server browser while in a server. I don't wanna disconnect and search for a better server if there are none.
