If you're talking about the video that goes through the previous CS versions at the start (that's the only video I can see on the page), that video was released months ago
This is a new trailer. The first half is the same as the old one, but the gameplay footage in the second half is brand new.
I wonder how many player models they have made. So far the SAS looks nice, but I don't understand why there's a CT shooting another CT on the screenshot :v:

It's a T shooting a ct, the arms are either placeholders or the separatists or whatever they are called.

Oooh, you might be right, but those hands look like GIGN hands.

Movie theater arms race map!
I believe I posted this here a few months ago, but it's now released! And before somebody brings it up, I designed this map last year and have been working on it off and on since April, so it has nothing to do with the recent shootings in Colorado.

Maps take a long time to make, who could possibly be stupid enough to think that you made this entire map in the time since the shooting, specifically just for the shooting?

If you think that people couldn't possibly be stupid enough to think a map is made this quickly, you should hear about what happened in Colorado recently.
I thought cinema would be a better ground for hostage rescue map...

I never said that I thought no one could be that stupid, I know it's definitely possible

Not to relate both things to each other and I do know that you were making this map looong before the Colorado massacre, but the moment I saw the name of the map, it really reminded me of the thing.
Its odd. Not in the "oh my god made to train the killer/mockery/whatever" but in a "wow how weird that this happened".
I hope that the Weapon Course (if they will keep it) will feature some kind of mouse sensitivity adjustment.
I always take a really long time to adjust my mouse settings whenever I feel that the sensitiveness is too too little or too much. So then I have to press ESC mid-game and try out the sensiviteness three or four times. It's tedious and takes too long.

I just stick to one sensitivity on all games.
5
I use the DPI buttons on my mouse to change the speed. Sure, it's either very fast or moderately slow (two buttons), but it works for me :v:
I can't use mine because they there's three settings that are EXTREMELY SLOW, moderate and TOO FUCKING FAST.

But a sensitivity of 5 on one game might be totally different to 5 on another game. In Source engine games it's the same but not necessarily on other games, plus some games have a slider and don't have an input box. I tried playing QUBE the other day and the lowest point on the mouse sensitivity slider is still too sensitive for my liking.
when is the beta opening? i thought it was late july
never

Same thing for me, whenever I play TF2 and Garry's Mod I turn the sensitivity to maximum and it still doesn't feel sensitive enough for me. It might be my mouse, but I absolutely love having super high sensitivity.

I have a really sensitive mouse and I don't change the DPI so I tailor each game to the mouse because I can't be bothered to make game profiles with it. If you need it to be more sensitive you could get a mouse with a stupidly high DPI count.
The whole sensitivity thing is why I love my Cyborg RAT 7. I set one in game sensitivity for each game and leave it alone, and just change it on the mouse. I usually play games on 3500 DPI, usually for Source engine. Lower for others. The only exceptions would be blacklight retribution and tribes ascend.
Besides, why are we talking about mouse settings in the CS:GO thread.

It is ALWAYS better to have a higher DPI than in-game sensitivity.
The games' have to "Group" pixels when you move the mouse, so the higher your sensitivity, even if you slow down and take your time; the less accurate you can be, but if you use a HIGH DPI and a sensitivity of 1 or 0 on games, than you will be more accurate.
I don't do this thought, I use 2000 DPI on my mouse (I can raise/lower it, but don't) and adjust sensitivity in-game; dunno why.
Got spare key, pm me

My mouse only has 5 profiles anyway so I kind of have to just change it in the game.
Anyway we are getting off topic, how many days or weeks do you think it'll be before we get told that CS:GO is being delayed? Aren't Steam games meant to be up for pre-order at least a month before they come out?

Obviously this isn't the exact case but I'm fairly sure "Inversion" started showing up for pre-ordering a week before release.
Don't take my word on it though. I have the attention span of a goldfish.

They did also say the open beta would start when it goes up for pre-order, which was supposed to be 9 days ago I think. I would bet that it gets delayed a few weeks.

They said roughly July 21st, it was more of a rough guess if anything.
Too cool for two hands.
