what the fuck are you talking about
they were rather risky in Source as well, I only would use them in office, because there you were guaranteed to actually be in close quarters
Not to me, I could use them anywhere and do some actual damage.
advice: don't give a fuck about the range, just start shooting. It wont fuck up the spread I think, so it will probably kill them faster, unless they are good :v:
Also, GO preordered!
Oh my god, I love the update list!
FBI! Also, awesome Voice overs for CT and T, they also brag and cheer.
Wow, this update is fucking massive.
Also, new player models!
Update? now?
where?!
Still no different reloads for pistols and no fix for the 5.7 slide not working?
I need to see the SWAT player models. For the de_vegas remake I'm doing with some peoples.
That update log set puts every other one I've ever seen, Valve or otherwise, to pure shame. I mean, yeah, the beta had a lot of content excluded from it that'd be in the full title, we all knew this, but holy shit on the moley granoli that's huge.
– Fixed grenades becoming stuck on players or inside them when thrown from within a player volume.
– Changed grenades to bounce more realistically off of players.
Finally. This was so annoying, when someone would walk in front of/through you and your grenade would be stuck floating there.
I haven't tried out the beta - is it worth it? I have a lot of games I haven't played yet, but I kinda want to try it out.

Of course, you came to a totally biased source for that quesiton, but it's worth it if you liked earlier CS games at all.

I personally enjoyed it, but that's my own experience. If you don't like CS 1.6 or CSS you most likely wouldn't like this one.

I would say so. It really tweaks the strong points of both games and brings a lot of new Steam features missing from 1.6 and Source.
It's worth $15. No more, no less. Plus there's going to be (hopefully) a good deal of post-release support.
Cool, preordered. Played a lot of CS 1.6 and CZ when I was younger, CSS a little later. Never played that much CSS, but it's a great timewaster.

Try out the beta.
To me, it feels a bit odd, compared to the other counter strike games, probably because 1.6 to source, it still feels very much alike.
The guns sound and look the same, and so do the maps.
If you are used to the old CS games, this might be a bit difficult for you to chew through during the first few days, but it grows on you afterwards.
Still lots to be done, but its nice, and feels more rewarding than the other ones.
I was never really into normal games on either of those but i like this one a lot for some reason
Have you been doing only 5on5's?
Because I think any more players just completely ruins the game.
I'm far better in CSGO than I am in the older games.
If this was any other company this game would be out for minimum of 40 or something. $15 is such a damn nice price for this. Bought it the instant I saw it today on the storefront.... Id love a beta key to actually try this game out, but i dont see that happening now that its so close to releasee.... so excited.

I bought it for LESS than 10€.
I mean... Its cheaper than CSS when it isn't on a sale! Its madness! And good thing it has a discount. If it didn't have, it would be 11€ and I'd have to get a 20€ paysafecard. Would buy more games, but right now don't really want to spend...
Still no Arctic Avengers? Franchise ruined.
I love how you can get GO and every other CS game (including CS:S) for less than Source.
Aw yeah, preordered this baby. Here's hoping the final release is excellent, but then Valve games are never terribl-

Can someone post a video of all the changes from CS:S to CS:GO? I suck at CS:S (check out my below .5 k/d ratio) but I'm considering getting this, I just want to see how it's different and if I'd be better at it.

They were replaced with Balkan.
It costs 9 bucks here
goddamn it, still no env_wind and weapon entity fixes.
Hopefully they add the func_vehicle thingy.
Preordered. Gonna be good especially with the mod support.

On that thought, is connecting to a server with custom stuff going to be the same on CS:GO as it is in CSS and 1.6? And not the crap L4D pulled.
personally I just pre-ordered it for the target range.
I don't even enjoy the actual gameplay :<
Am I the only one who gets majorly annoyed by the AWP?
