Should I get this game? The only reason I still play CSS is because of custom maps like slide, surf, minigame, zombies, etc. Does CSGO still have support for these gamemodes? If yes I'll probably buy it.

It will probably support all pre-existing mods for CSS, but you never know how long it's going to take to port all those maps and gamemodes over (not too long, but yeah).
Nice of them to state we can play the beta on the 14th when it doesn't open up before in the evening any other place than America... That's a shame.
I absolutely love the P250 in this game, it's got good fire rate, damage, and a big enough mag.
Also, I hope sometime after release, they add a team deathmatch mode. I've found that it's my favorite way to practice using the weapons which I suck with.

I am absolutely certain there'll be a server mod for that (like CS and CSS have, the one where you respawn and can use a number menu to select loadout)

There are some servers for it already which I've been playing, I just hope Valve makes it an official mode.
Saw the advert in the Steam news popup and bought it instantly. Can't wait for the beta to come out for pre-orders.
Hopefully we'll get some new surf maps and other gamemode maps by the community.

P250 is second only to the deagle, unless you count the extra ammo and fire rate.
Also better than the Tec-9 imo. I don't know why everyone likes it. It's weak, slow as HELL and has been nerfed quite a few times, the only thing good about it is how much ammo it has.
Also, MP7 has HUGE damage and accuracy.
Agreed on the P250. It's a very well-balanced gun with a good rate of damage. That little gun has saved my bacon many a time.
It's at the point where I immediately buy it during pistol round, T or CT.

It says the 14th, its still the 14th. Valve is always releases stuff at 10am Pacific Time (-8 GMT)
