Anyone wanna play CS:S until the beta is released? steam Username: XDeathmaX IGN: aMity. ZeroHawk
I didn't mow today, it was last week. Yeah I'm acting like a child, and I didn't ask for the money. I did the work as a normal chore and worked my ass off and I got a reward ( which I usually don't get because its a chore ) and I was so fucking happy that I was able to buy CS:GO. You all have a very valid point, I don't do this kind of shit but if I pay for a game, and I'm told its going to be released on a certain day I expect it to be released at a reasonable time.
You should see me at christmas time, I'm the one who always tells the other children. such as my cousins and my nephews that its only presents and its not the end of the world. And I appreciate everything I have, today I just feel like yelling at gabe because I can.
I even told my grandmother last year when she was going through a rough time with cash, She asked me what I wanted for christmas and I told her not to give me a dime because she needed as much money as she could get at the time.
seriously just wait for the game you're making a huge deal out of nothing
and 2 hours of yard work in the boiling sun is nothing to some people, watch your mouth
Got everything ready to set up a powerful dedicated server for this once I get access to the beta. :v:
Arms race, max slots possible, every map in rotation, final destination.
Who's in?

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
14 Aug 2012 -
Welcome to the beta.
We have learned a great deal from players in our closed beta over the past several months, and we’re excited that so many new players are joining us. As we approach the release of CS:GO on August 21st, there’s still time to make adjustments to the game. Play as much as you can, and let us know what you think in the forums.
For those of you who are new to CS:GO, you have several ways to play. Using the “Find A Game” menu, you can enter one of four game modes – the Arms Race and Demolition modes are great opportunities to experiment with different weapons and strategies, while the Classic Casual and Competitive modes can quickly get you into a standard match. There’s also an option to play offline with bots, which is a great way for new players to learn core game concepts, and an excellent opportunity for veterans to hone their skills.
Meanwhile, consider joining one of the many community servers running custom maps and gameplay settings. The “Community Quick-Play” option will find a server for you, or you can select a server on your own with the “Browse Community Servers” option in the main menu or while in-game.
If you have a group of friends ready to play CS:GO, use “Play With Friends” to form a team and connect to a server as a group, or to join a friend wherever they are currently playing.
However you choose to play, we’re glad you could join us. Test the game, give us your feedback, and have fun.
Yeah really, what?
Dead link brother.

This is what he was trying to post I assume.

People need to lay off Zerokateo not that I'm taking his side. I can understand the frustration since a lot of people enjoy Counter - Strike. I just bottle it up yeah I'm getting a bit peeved off. But this has become the norm for Valve. But I give them unconditional love since the game is already amazing. (I played my friends beta)
Did anyone see the posts back when Left 4 Dead 2 was delayed by a few hours.
Best thing to do is find another game to play, Watch a series or a movie or do something dare I say it? Productive.

Obviously we all want to play the game, but there is no need to start explaining how your day has been just because you're impatient about the beta release..

Either is it any help to harass him.
Well... apparently some people are actually downloading it. http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2874756&page=4
Only to reply a few seconds later and say he's kidding :/
So I don't really want to read through pages of internet drama about lying and stealing from grandparents, but would it be safe to expect the open beta to go live round 5pm pacific?

If you really don't want it to continue, stop posting about it and let it go~~
Can some one teach me to not suck at this game
If you really don't want it to continue, stop posting about it and let it go~~
I think you misunderstood what he was saying.
Can some one teach me to not suck at this game
These are the tips I can give you from playing CSS.
Check your radar, be mindful of enemy positions when your teammates see them.
Try to be spontanous. If you're waiting around a corner, or are pinned down by enemy fire try to do what is unexcpected. Don't push forward, but quickly retreat and try to flank, etc.
Flashbangs are your friend. A friend that should always go ahead of you.
Personally, I never get too worried about KDR. I like to surprise enemies, and it usually works out and I have fun killing people. You can do this by rushing. Most people will try to avoid certain death and die anyway. You can go in guns blazing and take out a lot of people if you are just willing to accept you will die.
Try to figure out how hitboxes work. As an enemy is moving, you need to adjust your aiming to have a better chance to hit them. This will feel a little unnatural at first, but you'll get used to it.
But for me good strategy (that isn't team based) always boils down to being unpredictable. Be a mad man with a gun.

Try not to focus on being good.
Oh, and wallpeeking.

What I was saying is that I don't want to read through pages of bullshit, and I was hoping for a straightforward answer.
I think you misunderstood what he was saying.
I think not, he states that he doesn't want to goto a CS:GO oriented thread only to find grandmother issues. Those things can go away though if people stop talking about it, so I suggest we do that now.

There would be less bullshit if not every post in this thread seems so eager to have comment on the matter.
Can some one teach me to not suck at this game
You play it like most other games, except much more carefully?
Sound is a big component too.

There would be less @#!*% if not every post in this thread seems so eager to have comment on the matter.
You seem pretty eager yourself. All I was looking for was an answer, which you have still not given me.

Yes, because people complain about something they can fix themselves but would rather keep it going. And I have never said I knew the answer to your question.
stop
please
Yes, because people complain about something they can fix themselves but would rather keep it going. And I have never said I knew the answer to your question.
So instead you decide to @#!*% about half of my post and ignore the pertinent part. Well I'm sure glad I came here for some simple information (speculation?).
I'll stop if someone even vaguely answers my question.
Yoshi you've dragged this on longer than anyone else. I started ignoring the kid an hour ago, just leave it as it is.
Can you guys stop the drama for a second, please? I've been trying to ask a simple question for the past several posts, because most external sources are out of date so I would like to know if what I said is a realistic expectation.
And it would all stop if anyone just stopped posting, amazing how everybody has to have the last word isn't it? (Include me and quite alot of others) But I'll just stop now, keep on complaining.
Sorry, you need to Log In to post a reply to this thread.
