I have noticed this too. I'll empty a clip into someone at point blank range, then they'll just turn around and one shot me.

It just really baffles me how there were blood spurts and decals pouring out of the guy, which usually indicates the shots are registering, but the fucker lost no health AT ALL. I just don't even.

Just the fact of knowing that crap like that is even possible is really a turn off for me because it just takes the skill of the player and throws it out the window because of lag. Is there client side hit detection in CS:GO?

This game is absolutely shit software-wise for the beta, the dedicated server is so unstable it keeps knocking into my other servers and crashing them :v:

I don't think armor is available because it's greyed out in the buy menu, also I've had my fair share of "WHAT THE FUCK I SWEAR I GOT HIM" moments from CS:S, but usually it's not as bad as me unloading a full clip into a person and the person receiving no damage at all. At best it would inflict little damage because half of the rounds I shot either missed or didn't register at all.

It's on by default in non competitive iirc.
