whats the current status on weapons' viability? In CS:S it was always M4 or AK47 or AWP if you could afford it. Hence, that's all I've really been using. Of course, gun game gives me a chance to play each weapon and the heavy Machine Guns still feel as though they're lacking any sort of punch.

Most weapons seem viable, but the assault rifles feel like toys, and shotguns have become damn good guns.

Been playing for a few hours now, and I'm loving to so far.
I never had a problem with CS:S, but I much prefer this one. Everything about it seems better, the weapons seem useful so I'm not limiting myself to the AK/M4 and Desert Eagle.
Out of the new guns, my favourite has to be the sawn-off shotgun. It just feels so badass.

Sawed-off and MAG-7 are really fantastic weapons. Both are very useful on close quarter maps like Office.

PSN preorders started on the 14th, which is why I mentioned that.
Is it just me or is the classic crosshair unreliable? It seems to make the gun look more accurate than it really is.

Oh really? Because just last week PSN had a deal where if you pre-ordered one of their 3 downloadable games, you got a discount on it, as well as a free gift.

Actually, HPE did a livestream for DG2, and lead designer said that there will be something similar to halo's aim assist, the sticky aim or whatever when it lowers your sensitivity when you aim at someone.
