Sniper rifles feel so weird to me now. In CSS I could move out of a corner and quickly take someone out then go back into cover. Now when I try that my shot is usually inaccurate. Not complaining or anything, it just feels weird.
Also I need to stop the habit of quickswitching since it's useless now.
I'm still wondering as to which weapon I should use in which map.. I feel like the smg's are simply more effective until you get a better grip of the game. The ARs have so much recoil.

It happened to me, and I bought it anyway. When I did, it was added to my library call "Counter-Strike: Global Offensive" without the beta at the end. And I still have the beta in my library too.
Is it still possible to restrict certain weapon categories from bots?
In CSS I had a lot of fun with friends playing against ~20 knife only bots.
I tried the old svars and they didn't work.

If you check the menu there is a mode called "Weapons range" or something similar.
Only 9 euros? A major release game that's not even out yet for 9 euros? wat.
(It probably is, but) is it worth buying it? Also, the graphics looks amazing for a 9 euro game

CS:GO has more polish to it than CS:S, that may be a contributing factor.

I didn't hate CSS, but I definitely couldn't get into it.
With CS:GO however, I'm having a great time.
I'm having a hard time getting into CS:GO because I'm being forced to adjust my playstyle after thousands of hours in CS:S. Otherwise, it'll be great.

For anyone that is having problems with playing the CS:GO beta on Mac: You have to have the beta version of Steam to play.

This fixed CS:GO on both my and my friend's Mac laptops, so I'm going to assume that it works for everybody else.

I love it, you always got stuck on barrels and people could block entrances and hide the bomb with barrels.

I think I figured it out, the game comes with the beta if you buy it now. The beta is the game steam is talking about, you still get cs go the game, but not an extra copy of the beta. I know this because I bought cs go, got the game but I didn't see any betas in my inventory because I already own the beta.
TL;DR: CSGO on store = 2 items: The game, and the beta. If you already own beta, you dont get a second beta but you get the game. This is the thing steam is talking about, not the game itself.

I did think it might be something like this, but the fact that it's not saying anything about the beta when I go to purchase it worries me.
Either way, I contacted support and am awaiting a reply.
