So you pick the dust map as an example?

If the dust maps where as colorful as the second picture, it would be harder to differentiate enemies, specially terrorists.

It looks very good as it is now.

If you look at Italy and Inferno, they have more color than the Dust maps.

Truth is it depends on the level. Each level is designed perfectly I think. The colour palettes fit the scene very well. Colour is where it should be, it's as vibrant or dull as it should be. I don't see a problem at all. I only find it hard to differentiate between Ts and CTs with the ridiculous amounts of me friendly firing, and being shot by friendlies.

The game runs beautifully on my retina macbook. I just need a decent mouse to play with. I can't find a decent sensitivity level, what do you guys have your mouse sensitivity at?

When I try to launch the beta, Comodo a pop-up appears and tells me that my computer is infected. Is this a common thing? The file it complains about is in the c:\windows\temp folder.

If it's related to CS:GO, it's a false positive. If it's something else, then no idea.

So it's probably a false positive since it complains when I launch CS:GO right?
Do GO unpack files in the temp folder the first time you launch it?

I just bought this and I'm having a bit of trouble seeing enemies in dark areas... is it like this for everyone? I turned my brightness up to max, and even then a third of my deaths are caused by not seeing enemies that are in my field of view but in dark areas.

Maybe turning off HDR would help, don't know though. Anyone else had this problem and done anything via options to help it? Or is this just part of the game now.

I don't know, there's a lot less dark spots in CS:GO and I have more issues in CS:S than 1.6, and you can't turn off HDR in GO I'm pretty sure.

Apparently it's only happening with custom content for me

If it's not a default map or gamemode it refuses to join it
