All that really needs to be done. I said MS Paint and that artistic ability doesn't matter. I wanted it to be open to as many people as possible. I'm surprised they were able to whip up those images as quick as they did TBH.

I didn't know ModDB was doing a contest at all. Actually, I don't have any idea what other sites are doing contests outside of my own ATM.
And you guys know that damn well I'm still going to end up picking a few "day 1 and gone" winners. It's random. I use random.org to pick a post reply number for the winners, same as I've done in every contest to date. I'd just like to see some regulars get the keys beforehand.
Edit: I just looked at ModDB's contest. They're nothing alike. They have a poem/limerick contest in which winners will actually be chosen by originality and how funny they are. I just want to have people actually do some sort of effort to enter to deter the mega-lazy contest hoarders who will truly only join a community for the contests. That's also why I put in the note about people having to PM me back if they won. Too many times I PM'ed someone, they redeem the key and I never know about it nor receive any sort of acknowledgement.
Day 1 and gone people make me sad.
I feel bad about doing it, but it's better than not trying at all.

it's only PS3 and PC, and the PS3 users will be able to use the mouse and keyboard to play. So it really won't make a difference except a few PS3 people will be using controllers

I think it would be the other way around where only a few people use keyboard and mouse. I don't own a PS3 but I don't really see keyboard and mouse being the popular option, especially since the majority of PS3 games do not support them. I could be wrong though.
Also it's likely that the CS:GO survey will use the same method as DoTA 2's survey and when it's open to everyone you should be able to use the following link for quick access: [URL]steam://takesurvey/2[/URL]

And most of the people I know (or the one person i know) who own both a ps3 and computer have a shite computer with PS/2 keyboards
every one of my friends who has a PS3 rarely plays it and i know for a fact that if they had a chance to use a keyboard and mouse for an FPS they would jump right on that shit. a few of them even bought that converter kit for the 360 so they could use a keyboard and mouse and stomp on everyone else
