Anyone kinda bummed they didn't include cs_militia with the release? That was my favorite map ever.
If saying the game is shit is "comparing" two games then yes, you compared them alright.
Your profile gif image obliterates my heart with cuddlyness.
So which group is the main group we're all in? Also is there a server where we're all going to be playing on or what?

That doesn't mean the game is going to be like 1.6 at all. Which it really isn't. For medium to long range the AK and M4 (mainly the AK) are hardly accurate as they were in 1.6 or CSS
Accuracy changed on two guns.

Assault is my favourite map. Hopefully they add it soon.
The only person insulting you here is yourself. I need to grow up? You are the one complain about things that don't exist because YOU don't know how to play the game. Also if you think I am trying to insult you, you don't know what insulting is.
please end this shit. Noone cares and this forum has a PM system. That FP has become some half-way social board over the last couple of years doesn't mean you have to fight over the last word until 5AM

Me, even though I almost never played it.
But I demand that they do every single official map it had. VIP included.
I like when games have lots of content.

1. I haven't had footstep issues
2. GO must be good if 1.6 players are finally moving on to a new CS game I imagine. When go was in development I thought a few of them were even helping with the development

That the AK and M4 has nostalgic pwnage value doesn't mean they didn't deserve nerf(of kinds) they where like the only used guns in CSS after round 3 or 4.
I find it awesome how I can buy a shotgun in CS:GO and actually kill people with it.
Competitive leagues (apparently) felt that Source was too easy compared to 1.6 and made it less challenging. Though, apparently, a lot of people in servers I've played in compare GO to 1.6's gameplay.
I don't know why people say 1.6 was harder than Source.
I've seen actual PRO demos of people who literaly obliterate a whole team through a wall.
Heck, even I have done it.

most of the people that kept playing 1.6 and badmouthed source were just whiny little shits that had bad first experiences, the *only* differences between the two are the graphics and the glock 3x glitch
From what one group told me this:176.34.243.21:27014 is the server we have up for FP. If that's true, does anyone know if we'll be getting a server closer to the US? I'm not getting that great of ping on this one.
I'm gonna get an Arms Race server up in the coming months, expect community maps and RTD.
It's not my headphones. Never had any problems with them on any other games and they're pretty much new and cost me a few hundred, it's just a problem with the footsteps in the game not being scaled correctly for distance and it makes it difficult to judge where exactly your enemy is based on sound. Also i was only using the M4 and Ak as examples since they're the most used guns in the game, i didn't feel like writing an analysis of every single gun.
As for people thinking that the competitive 1.6 players are moving to GO, you couldn't be more wrong. The same thing happened when CSS came out, everyone thought it would be the new competitive game for a week while all the old CS players tried it out then they all just went back to 1.6. I have no doubt in my mind that the few players from the competitive 1.6 scene who have moved to GO (and i really do mean the few) will be going back to 1.6 very very soon.
The lack of a defining recoil pattern, inaccuracy at medium to longer ranges with no pattern there also, useless pistols aside from the deagle, laughably pointless SMGs, poor sound design, etc. etc. really doesn't make this a high level competitive game. The AK and M4 are still the go to guns, possible with the addition of the AUG which has gotten a buff from the previous games, but now instead of being useful all around guns they're basically semi-accurate close range guns which at longer ranges make it some sort of a cover hopping game in order to get close enough that one of your bullets actually goes where you're aiming
Is anyone else getting a really loud high pitched static noise when the terrorists plant the bomb or a team wins? it is the worst thing i have ever heard. instead of the "the enemy has planted the bomb" or "counter terrorists win" it is "KKKRKRGKHAKDIIIIIEGLELGKEI"
also if i wanted to be nit-picky the crosshairs i find to be poor too. i know you can change the dynamic to classic, but then they're pretty much static and as far as i know you can't change the size. if anyone knows a console command to change the size it would be nice
Da dogg owns.
the *only* differences between the two are the graphics and the glock 3x glitch
Well, no. As far as I know, there's some quick-switching differences between 1.6 and source.

they fixed the suppression quick switching if that's what you're referring to
So there's been no new content since I got the beta in April/May. A tad disappointing, hopefully we get Steam Workshop support soon too.

Yea I get that too. But at random times.
I also hope it's just last minute bugfixes.
This is just not what everyone expected.
Too much popo-blasting for me.

lol at everyone who's whining about a lack of new maps added in at release
they will come in time, in patches. be patient
i loved this game when it was in my library
it's not anymore ;_;
Gentlemen, get your Hammers ready.
Playing competitive queue is a joke because It's like LoL soloqueue.
You get matched with people that don't listen to calls/will leave/suck. The only difference? CS:GO won't punish them and they have no incentive to actually stay in the game if they rage/start losing. Played a comp match where we were winning but one guy on our team raged that I told him to stop buying a scout when he has 16k gold and rushing B (de_dust2) and he left the game, and he was our B defense half the time and we lost because it was a 4v5 with a bot that does nothing.
