Accounts had to fill out the survey first, so I doubt somebody left steam already that was physced enough to apply for the beta.

So I wanted to upload some gameplay footage today and since I'm on a new PC my recorded Fraps footage can't be opened in any video editor. It must be a codec problem but I've tried reinstalling them like three times now, what do I do, people?

csm = cascaded shadow mapping.

In the excitement of getting into the beta, I forgot that I was VPN'ed into my VPS last night to access a Hulu video. So after a night of slightly-laggy playing and a slow download, I realized my mistake and disconnected. I finally got the giftable key, which wasn't showing up when I was connected to the VPN, for some reason.
Did anyone get a weird bug where you disconnect from the server the game creates an invisible lobby at the main menu? I got the "Connection Problem" text and a countdown, though when it reached zero and I was booted back to the main menu, I heard typing. After saying "Hello?", the other guy stopped and we kinda figured out what was going on after laughing our asses off. That happened twice, except the second time I didn't say anything. I think the guy was talking to a friend on the phone about the game.
