You can compile maps in the Portal 2 sdk and they work in CS:GO.

No player shadow? wat... What bothers me is that the maps still look like they are not part of the surrounding. There is no real world except for a few skybox models.
Some Lake gameplay, digging the shadows, unfortunately can't make videos with good AA though :V

I love how extra kills give you grenades.
While the map looks great, is it just me but the videos and screenshots seem to give the impression that the map is very bright yet slightly foggy, and the two don't look right together?
Maybe it's humidity? Or likely it's used for hiding props fading away.

They originally did have filtering, until they released a 12mb on the same night as the big patch which made it box filtered, which was to help framerates.
