I got a question about arsenal mode: Is it based on objectives only? Or can you also play deathmatch in arsenal mode?

Just as an FYI, all information posted in STS is confidential. When STS strings are leaked, there's serious repercussions. One of which being that Valve stops actively releasing strings, thereby harming our translation process to begin with.

I imagine that it'll be deathmatch.

tried out the Tec-9, yeah you're right, it's firerate is damn shitty. I was able to max out it's firecap without an autoclicker. WITH MY 2 BARE HANDS

Had this crazy idea for a CS:S map, has to do with CS:GO because if i do it i will be porting it to CS:GO. Its a map where the Terrorists and The Counter-Terrorists both have objectives, of course the game can be won by eliminating the other team, but the T's objective is to plant the bomb on the bomb site while the CT's objective is to rescue hostages, both have one obstical they have to clear in the way to the objective though. Such as the opening of the gate to the Bomb point so that the terrorists can get to the bomb point, and the unlocking of a door so that the CT's can get to the hostages and take them to the extraction zone. The map would be set in either a nuclear energy facility or a now taken-over military base. Does this sound any good?

Many of them seem to have good layouts for CS. A friend of mine had the idea of mixing parts of map 3 and 4 of Death Toll, with the church being a central point.

I can understand keeping everything the way it was beforehand, because that would allow the game to still feel like CS. But when you add new stuff to a game like this, and make it act in a way you don't expect... I dunno, it just seems out of place.

If it had a low firecap it would be like the dualies but $300 cheaper.

Only thing that ruins that is the generic modern shooter CT skins and glitches in the movement/gunplay (shitty-ass random recoil, overdone anti-bhop, no first bullet accuracy). Other than that it's a decent game, new guns feel balanced albeit a bit redundant.
