No. I hate how common the side pop-ups have become that tell you who died from who.
I agree. It would add suspense, not knowing if your buddy has made it and relying on him to have made it.
While we're talking about Penumbra, in Overture, where do I find the fuse for the Death Mix? I'd have thought I'd have come across it on the way but I haven't, I'm not sure if I'm to make it or pick it up somewhere.
Halp plox.
NVM.
found it,
didn't look hard 'nuff.
rate box for stupidity.

- you can only talk to eachother when you are close to the other
- when the other die´s you can not see that he died yes or no
Shall post pics when i got some results
oh god yes
Amazing things can be done!
This.
I have 3 other friends that I have LAN's with quite often and finding many co-op games with 4 players is a bitch, there are just so many 2 player ones.
Yeah, this is the problem with more and more games these days
Even better, a dungeon-master style scenario.
I wish all games had a DM mode, I really really do.

As A DnD player, I fully support this.
Black Plague was very freaky.
Okay, what ideas should I add to the OP?
Alright.
Basic idea:
max 2 players, the levels of the game needs to be edited for more players but i still need to recreate the scripted events. i shall try to add the guns with the co op.
- you can only talk to eachother when you are close to the other
- when the other die´s you can not see that he died yes or no
- i shall try to add guns to the co op version
- Beta? why not. shall be launched soon
- and i shall try to add a level or 2 extra in it (dunno if that is gonna work)
Shall post pics when i got some results
Good luck, didn't find any network code. But I did find promising layers of abstraction, so it wouldn't be impossible to have co-op. There's very little documentation on this, and little to no comments in the source.

Guns would make it easier, anyway you could add 3/4 player co-op?
The Penumbra series is the only series that has made me truly feel fear in a video game.
the game is not really made for network games like MultiPurpose said. but i will start with 2 players. if it works fine i shall add more players to it

Sweet
Adding guns would completely ruin this in my opinion.

I agree. The fact that you have limited weaponry is one of the things that makes this game scary as fuck.
lol, it's just physx...
Newton.
This is why you don't post something programming related in games discussion

Uh, what? Are you putting in network code? Do you even know what you're doing?
