This game is amazing, I'm already level 20, and I've played with my friends. I'm satisfied with the console version, it was totally worth it.

I mean, look at it from a purely business standpoint: Give PC version to Retailers 2 weeks early. Tell them that the loads of boxes have to sit in their storeroom unopened, taking up space, for 2 weeks (I fucking worked inventory at Borders and I know how frustrating this is). When some 17 year old getting paid minimum wage brakes the street date and starts selling, the company gets pissed. By tonight the game will be all over the P2Ps, and thousands of people will download the game. Some will play and cancel their pre-orders. Many others won't even buy it. Meanwhile, if Gearbox and 2K just unlocked the game, then instead of tons of people pirating it for the next week, people [B]might actually buy the game[/B]. Holy fuck! So, now here's the situation, you've got a bunch of grumpy gamers who see people playing the game on Youtube, wondering why they don't have it yet. So, they'll search for it, find it, d/l it, and play it. And many will do it TO SPITE Gearbox and 2K, those wankers.

But if console gamers get to play borderlands while i have to wait 4 days.. then thats a different story.

I cheered a little when I found out this will have split screen co-op. Going to be staying with a buddy for a week the day after it's released. Shits going to be awesome.
