I bought this game when i heard it might be released earlier.. How stupid could I get? Damn you gearbox/2k! :argh:

I estimate that most people who pirate this game will be Europeans who have preordered it but got pissed off, cancelled their preorder and downloaded the US version

This game still does not appeal to me.

And even if it does get released earlier, STEAM will probably fuck us up too, just to pour salt in our wounds.. And then the game finally gets out, it turns out to be a shitty port, where all the buttons displayed on the screen looks like the buttons on the xbox controller.. And then a DLC is released exclusively to the consoles.. If that happened... I'd get really pissed :( (I'm just being pessimistic.) The annoying thing isn't exactly that it's released 4 days later, but that this difference will split up a lot the Europeans and Americans, since the game is level based. Unless those that gets it on Monday are up for starting from scratch again on Friday of course. :/

Sent an email, they sent one back saying they had got it and should expect a response in 72 hours. The fuck? Just read it and reply damn it. I pre-ordered a game that I'll be able to spend bandwidth on to download, but then I won't be able to play that game that I bought, that Best Buy states on THEIR website will release the 20th? I went back and checked, and nowhere on their website, even after pre-ordering does it say that the game will not function until the 26th. I realize they are breaking the street date, but I am a paying customer that bought the game legally, and I have every right to be able to play it the day I buy it. Maybe if on the box it said that it wouldn't be available until the 26th, but nowhere on the invoice or the box or your website does it say anything about this. I understand that if I had gone researching the game and it's release dates and the intricacies of it's DRM, then maybe it would be acceptable and I would not be writing this email. But it is not fair to deny me my product after a licensed reseller sold it to me, telling me that the official date was the 20th and I would be able to play that day as well. I'm not sure if this is your fault or Best Buy's, but I would like one of two things: 1. Best Buy to cancel my preorder. Unfortunately, the way my schedule works out and the way their ticket system works, I will not be able to cancel before they process the order and make the download available, after which there are no refunds. 2: Perhaps that DRM was a rumor, and I will be able to play the game I paid for tomorrow. If it's not, I will pursue each avenue to make sure I get my money back, and that I make sure nobody I knows will fall into a trap like this. You should not have to know little things such as the DRM on a game to buy a game at the store, and you should always be able to play the game you legally pay for the day the retailer hands it to you. If there was a disclaimer somewhere on the Best Buy website or that cashier or on the box, none of this would be happening. But there was no warning, only the fact that I don't have my game, and it looks like I won't ever be buying games from Best Buy or Gearbox in the future.
