I was gonna share a way to make lots of money through a loophole in the game (not technically a glitch). You need 2 people: One person gets an expensive item, and trades it to the second person. The second guy exits back to main menu, as he does this his game autosaves. The first guy turns off his Xbox, without saving. What ends up happening is the game never saves the fact that he doesn't have the gun anymore, so you end up having duplicate items next time the game loads up. It's a pretty lengthy process (restarting the Xbox), and it's kind of illogical unless you have a really expensive gun, but I figured I would share it because someone will find a use for it.

[editline]11:50PM[/editline] Reminds me of the red/blue pokemon cloning trick.
I wonder if the mods will give us a custom forum for this game.

And if you dupe your whole loot after say, a boss battle then you get shitloads of cash. And I think shitloads of cash is the only incentive to do this duping other than maybe outfitting your friends with better equipment or if you both want THAT gun.
Duping is for pussies.
you do realize it damages your comptuer if you just pl ain shut it off? just hit crtl alt delete and force close it derp.
If your pc isn't ancient one, then force shutdown doesn't hurt anything.
If your pc isn't ancient one, then force shutdown doesn't hurt anything.
oh. well it would be easier to close it with the task manger anyways. also, if you agreed with your self. good job.
If your pc isn't ancient one, then force shutdown doesn't hurt anything.
I still think that force shutdown makes your computer go bonkers. .___.
I still think that force shutdown makes your computer go bonkers. .___.
Too much force shutdown can fuck your hdd up, my old computer had that, the hdd had no idea whether it should be on or off.
I think I have the worst luck. I Pre ordered borderlands for the PS3 and it's due for release today. I was hoping that because I pre ordered it i would get it later today or perhaps tomorrow. But guess what? POSTAL STRIKE!!!!!! So unless play.com are using a 3rd party company I may just end up getting borderlands in about two weeks from now. Insert the angry-face guy here.
Anyone else on the PS3 version having low framerates every now and then (mainly in large scaled combat)?
Anyone else on the PS3 version having low framerates every now and then (mainly in large scaled combat)?
Same on xbox apparently
also, if you agreed with your self. good job.
What really? A person got one positive rating, he MUST have rated himself. I see these comments all the time, who the fuck cares if a person rated himself or not?
Consoles were very very close to PC's in 2006, now PC's are light-years in the future, consoles are holding back development in the Game Industry.
Yeah, they were pretty close. For two days.
Same on xbox apparently
Damn, they better come with a patch soon, cause it can really be a bitch.
Sledge was a pussy against my Berserkers fists. Moe and Marley were pretty bastard couple tho, they ripped me a new one once.
eh I didn't find them to be that hard
Damn, they better come with a patch soon, cause it can really be a bitch.
Probably have no real way of patching it if it relates to the hardware just not handling massive amounts of action on screen at once.
Anyone else on the PS3 version having low framerates every now and then (mainly in large scaled combat)?
Since consoles have from shit to none ram.
Since consoles have from shit to none ram.
Excuse my ignorance but, does RAM really have an effect on the frame rate? I have 2 GB of RAM, going to 'upgrade' to 5 GB of RAM, how much difference will this make.
I'd heard about this from a couple of different places and never really thought to look into it, but I looked up some videos etc. last night and now I can't wait till I can afford it
Excuse my ignorance but, does RAM really have an effect on the frame rate?
Excuse my ignorance but, does RAM really have an effect on the frame rate? I have 2 GB of RAM, going to 'upgrade' to 5 GB of RAM, how much difference will this make.
In a console, RAM effects the framerate because all kinds of textures are loading into RAM and consoles have next to shit for RAM so the more on-screen, the more textures that are being loaded into RAM. In a PC, your OS takes up some RAM meaning some of it is already being used but most modern-day PCs have at the least five times the amount of RAM a console has.
Found my first alien weapon. It's unbelievably powerful. Doesn't require ammo either. Rather, it depends on a rechargable energy bank.
I just read a review about it. They said it didn't have 3.000.000-something guns, more like 100. They said they got the same guns pretty often... They also said that after 40 hours you've seen everything, and gave it a 75/100. Son, I am disappoint.
They said it didn't have 3.000.000-something guns, more like 100.
There is a fuck-ton more than 100.
