Borderlands - A Sci-Fi shooter with RPG elements and a lot of guns - Games

I seem to see more PS3 players here than Xbox gamers. only outnumbered by the amount of people bitchin' about the PC version (i do feel for you guys tho) Add Thisguy1234 to the PSN, I only got this today and I'm level 11 Roland after about 4 hours of playtime.

i bought it, waiting for it to be delivered sometime during the week (hopefully Wednesday or Thursday)

Probably going to get this tommorow for the 360, i've got the next week off so it should be great fun :biggrin:

I am loving simply listening to you good people discuss this game and imagining what it must be like. The weekend drags on, and I am afflicted with the PC version release woes. It's the only time I anticipate the dawn of a new week.

No piece is more than 40 seconds of walking away, I think. I'll agree that scavenger hunt quests are pains in the ass though. Also, that Volcano sniper I found about half-way through the game? 250 power and still stronger than a 410 power sniper. This thing is godly!

I traded in 5 games for this, and I'm glad I did.

That intro song, Ain't No Rest For the Wicked, really grows on you. I originally didn't like it all that much but now I cant stop listening to it. Not only that, it applies quite well to the setting.

What do we do???" And then the other writer is all like, "Hey, look, I just found this [U]Big Book of Clichés[/U]!" And they were all like, "Sweet! Let's just string a bunch of clichés together! There's only so much homo eroticism and 20 yard muscles one can take.

I love how even the unique weapons (i.e. boss weapons and such) still randomize the stats and appearance slightly.

You guys remember that super awesome ammo regenerating acid revolver? Fuck that, I found an explosive pistol called "The Dove" that is truley a HAX gun. It has a 12 round magazine, but the rounds never seem to empty?! I CAN FIRE FOREVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR you get it from doing the mission "Alter Ego: Godless Creatures" at the Middle of Nowhere bounty board.
