But the retail pc copies that came with the console ones almost simultaneously made that argument hard to believe. I saw a PC version of borderlands among the 360 versions naturally I grabbed and those crafty cashiers at best buy noticed what version it was when they were putting the game into the bag. I RAGED.

Sure, 2K could have told them to say something like that, but they didn't just be upfront with us. Gearbox may have released it on time if it wasn't for 2K but they could have told us the truth.

PieClock, you can contact Steam Support to have your pre-order cancelled. One thing that kind of pisses me off is they say the game will be released midnight EST, but according to steam it won't be open until 3pm EST. (6pm EST now, and 21 hours to go?) WTF

In other words, you buy a CD from the store, you can legally download that CD again, as long as it's for personal use. Uses for this include: -Your disc is damaged -It comes out on another format -the disc has copy protection making it impossible to use on your PC (you never know) Downloading something you've paid for is not theft.
